Se Puccini avesse sviluppato le intenzioni delle prime battute "Non più dai tuoi sguardi ammaliato sarà il mio cor" avrebbe probabilmente scritto una delle più belle arie d'opera per tenore. Invece ha optato per tratti di declamato inusuali per lui che era il compositore dal più spiccato senso melodico. Mie personale opinione... Mi sembra un'aria incompleta. Troppo.
I love Jose Cura... It's a weird technique. He hits the note, then shapes the vowel. It's weird but I think he's great nonetheless. If it were a horrible technique, he wouldn't be able to continue to sing the repertoire that he does.

E' ammirevole il coraggio di Cura. Fa tutto,
canta tutto, dirige tutto, fa l'opera,i concerti i DVD ecc. e tutto in modo mediocre.
Meraviglioso,nel mondo della grande musica c'e posto per tutti.
