  • Fantastic Setup!

I like the way you use WVO. I have been running it in my cars and Small Diesel engines for 3.5 years without a hitch and I laugh every time I hear all the naysayers with their Gloom and doom clap trap.

I am in the process of making a small backup power system like that myself and it will sure be powered on Veg as well.

    Again, great job and setup!

  • @glumpy10 Good for you! I have an Isuzu Elf on veg oil. I am soaking the Cylinders with Carb cleaner right now due to rings that are siezed. What kind of oil do you use to keep this from happening? I think I will have to go to Esso/Exxon high detergent oil or something!

  • @jackpontiac52

Change the oil @ half recommended intervals.

Don't let the engine idle like in traffic for long periods on oil.

I use a home made water injection system to keep the rings etc clean. I bought a merc that was dying from veg coked rings and the water injection brought it back to normal condition in a few hours driving.

Don't worry about a fine spray on a diesel, just use a small pot plant type garden mist nozzle and a washer pump. 100ml/ min for ever litre engine size.

  • Very nice setup.

  • No neighbors except a gas station/convenience store. People hear the exhaust and come over and comment that they find the exhaust 'noise' comforting! I can fall asleep just listening to it!

  • seen your link on infowars, nice job bro!

  • Great idea to get "off the grid", those slow turning diesels with big flywheels are perfect for this. But how about your neighbors complaining the noise ? I still love the idea !!
