Typical 80's Euro disco. good track but my favourite are both versions of "Straight ahead". After so many years I listened to this track again and I think it got something of the famous 80's Bobby O productions. I never realy noticed it when I played it in the 80's but it was before Bobby O became famous!
Brilliant Song. I still got all the Vinyz 12" of you.. Even Tony (Mansfield) did it all and the Remixes, sounds pretty much like New Musik . Tony,Trevor,Stephen,Phil,Mike,Pete etc. : You made all Times best Music. Thank You for all these brilliant songs..
It's not a bloody documentary my friend, It's to give people something to look at whilst listening to a great song (instead of putting music over a single picture or CD cover like the lazy & unimaginative do)
& any way all the pics were plagiarized from a rail anorak's website(all taken by enthusiasts)
Just read your message (2/8/08)... i said...that this song reminds me of a disco that used to be in Manchester, England. It was FAB every night, thanks to the best DJ in the world, Les Cockell....Kisses, Kyx.
Thanks for posting this track it is brilliant and so are you, my friend! x
I remember it as a big hit here in denmark an its defendtly my number 1. a hole lot better than " a walk in the park " Love this 12 inch" version. Thank`s HODGEPIG007.
easily as good as A walk in the park. It's one of those ones that make you scratch your head & wonder "how come that wasn't a total smash hit" (in the UK). I wonder how it did in the rest of Europe/the world ?????? compared to A.W.I.T.P (which struck gold all over the place).
This was a wonderful track from late 1980, being the follow up to 'Walk In The Park' in the UK. Should have been massive but stalled in the low 40s as I remember I had it on a CBS 7 inch single. The 12" is better tho!
Did we ever dance to this song in bars during the early 80s. I still have this 12 inch version on vinyl in my collection.

I only have it on tape. I copied it off The late Rick Berryhill's 12" in 1983.
Rick was a native of Lubbock Texas but claimed Dallas as his hometown....

25 years ago I was at my cross-roads and one day I've listened this hit at least 20 times, I liked it that much, and brought me a lot of luck!
Today I'm at my cross-roads again, and I'm listening this hit and makes very, very optimistic!
The Florida climate is another helper.
