  • We Want JUNOON Back

  • Pakistan & Hindustan Both Zindabad...We are first humans before indian or paki...hindu or muslim...Yaaron yehi Dosti hai!!

  • everybody should be like you buddy.

  • I dont care whay anyone says Brian on bass is what makes this song and salman ompliments him greatly. iguess yeh sahii mein dosti hai

  • the lyrics translation is kinda fuked up :)

  • this song used to play for cigrates commercial... man living in Pak can be fun sometimes..

  • I agree sp much... Pak is so amazing sometimes:)

  • Is there a Pakistani guitarist named Saen Junoon?

  • saeen is a song by the band junoon..

  • who gives a rats ass where they are from....ENJOY THE MUSIC

  • It's a lot more than I'd expect out of any band out of Pakistan or India--so I'll give them some credit. Nonetheless, their sound cannot even compare to anything out of Britain or US or even Japan.

  • Well, you are either an imperialist, or some low-self-esteemed south Asian who is sorry to be himself. You have no appreciation for other cultures or different types of people who bring beauty and diversity to life. The bottom line is that this band is just as good as any other band from U.S., or U.K., or Japan. Just because they are from a developing country doesn't mean their music is not as good.

  • Alright, well name a song from South Asia then that has had international appeal.

Can't? Well then..the bottom line would be..?

I never denied the aesthetic quality behind the song. Don't even try to challenge that.

  • my friend you are trying to reinterpret yourself more diplomatically- You said "their sound cannot even compare to anything out of Britain or US or even Japan" emphasis on "anything"- so to you these guys may not have a world appeal, thats fine, but they cant even be compared to anything just because they are from Pakistan-sounds like you are an ABCD, (look it up). As for world appeal songs- there are many that are many that enjoyed in western culture- e.g. Indian flute.

  • @thelegendarypaki Oh my. No need to be insecure about Pakistan. Their sound can't be compared to bands simply because they are unoriginal. I tried holding them up to standards that were too high. I just wish they were more creative.

That being said, I think the band does wonders for people in Pakistan who want to express themselves.

  • @toyeca1 Sadly a year has passed by but your bias didn't fade away. I am not insecure about Pakistan - we have several problems and the country is making progress. With that said I think Junoon is very original, I don't know your background so I can't say whether you get the right vibe from the song because you don't speak the language. In any case, if you said they cannot be compared to "anything" you made it very clear that you think they can't stand against even the worst bands abroad.

  • @toyeca1 And to answer your earlier challenge when you asked me to name any South Asian song with international appeal....Ever heard of A.R Rahman, the Indian music composer who won academy award for Slumdog. Or the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali. There are a lot of artists who tour foreign countries on regular basis to entertain their audiences. Then there are foreign born artists like Imran Khan who bring foreign influences to their culture. Let go of the hate my dear, you will feel better.

  • @thelegendarypaki Sadly, I'm still waiting for the name of that song. A.R Rahman exerts so much influence throughout the rest of the world that if you mention his name, there's a slim possibility that they will link him to Slumdog Millionaire. Thank you for informing me that there are artists who tour countries. I really didn't know that.

Nonetheless, Junoon's music, lyrics, and sentiment present nothing original to the audience. They can't compare with terrible bands abroad. And they haven't.

  • @toyeca1 Dude, you are one of those haters. Fine. I mentioned several artists in my last post. English is an international language - that also helps songs sung in English become more popular throughout the world. Songs sung in Urdu/ Hindi may not pick become so popular because only a handful of immigrants speak that language. Just to shut you up, I will present the song Chayya Chayya - it was originally seen in the movie "Dil se", then played in the credits if "inside man".

  • @toyeca1: Now don't make up bullshit excuses. I proved you wrong so you should shut up. Some people appreciate new music, others feel imperialistic and act like you.

  • Ali Azmat man he got so much energy within himself he just connect wid d audience & he totally rox he is a real rocker........like his new haircut......lolzzzz.......

  • I remember we used to dance to this song in my college Hostel parties....jhoom ootthay sab...Junoon used to be a sensation back then

  • good times <3

  • Junoon should really get back together, they should overlook their personal differences and re-group the iconic band of the east again. It's really sad to see them sepArated.

  • his voice and singing style makes junoon what they are.

  • these guyz always sing live ! and wen u listen to a live music recording its like this, but ill tell u guyz one thing, ive been to almost all thier live concerts that happened in isb n rwp back in 99-01, these guyz r just amazing! best live performances ive ever seen !

  • omg salman mucked up the solo again

  • Very Nice song!!! All of junoon's songs are great especially Jazba Junoon.

  • How ironical for this band junoon[infact for many bands like jal etc]...dosti..dosti,what dosti the band members must be sayin ...after their splits.

  • money, ego, fame, all these things makes it difficult to keep a strong friendship. i dont see any example around,if u do, let me know>?

  • Well in the west its[frinedship] there,Bon Jovi,U2,Iron Maiden,Rolling Stones etc...even The Police are back together with Sting. These are just a few examples.I am asking u,I dont know about 'Strings',but are they together since the birth of the band?

  • yeah, bro, but same time, see "take that",robbie williams polished himself when he was out of band.and what was it? money is usually problem for young bands but for big names ego always come first.

  • Fuck these 'boy bands' these fucks always have a faggot in them,'Take that',N'sync,''BACK'street boys',...I listen to 'Man bands'like bonjovi,Irons,Junoon.
