@jerbear82 dude you know, i'm actually starting to have a little more faith in this generation.. i know we're not quite the "techy" generation, but we're a lot more advanced than gen x! we have much more knowledge of computers, technology, medicine, etc! we're also ARTISTS! a lot of us are musicians, entrepreneurs, etc, who make sure to put family and friends first before the "almighty dollar". a lot of us are soon-to-be-politicians and judges! have a lil' faith man! ;)

"generation x" describes "y" as lazy and slacking, but labeling people is a perfect example of how arrogant they are. not all people of "y" are lazy, and the truth of it is, barely any of them are. "x" just thinks that because of a huge craze over technology, all people of "y" are vile, pathetic, and needy. but, if you look at the facts, "y" has actually don way more positive things and more active things then "x" could've dreamed of. all people of "Y", i'm sorry for the actions "x" made.
@hatboy809 i was born in '74, during the 90s i was a part of gen. x, and can tell you this: We noticed how industry, greed, bad gvrnment destroyed more then half the planet, watched parrents devorce as if it was a boom in itsself, we abandoned traditional sports and became the x gamers, skateboarding, snowboarding, we did drugs and lived in the moment or wished we'ld die young by living in the fast lane. We learned what thoses before us lost, but did'nt have the means to fix it...Hope you do
The media ditzed the generation x. Old people hate change and are scared of the fact that evolution exsits! I am generation x, my kids are generation Y and they are smarter than me! IT IS FEAR!!! Generation x and Y are interested in FIXING the screw ups of the ME generation. THey FEAR US!!!!!

@mmtna What about the fact that the biggest social media protest that just stopped Governmental control over the internet. I am talking about the stoppage of Protect IP. What about the fact that Obama used social networks and got a generation to vote for him. Not to mention with technology we are breaking down old business practices that don't work with social networking.
Our generation needs BA's to earn a job; Master's to earn a salary; and a PhD to retire and live comfortably. Our generation is the first to be "accepting" rather than "tolerant" to cultures not familiar to one's own.
Also the 18-24 years old age bracket, used by politicians in most "official" polls only amounts to 6 years, as opposed to the 25-34, 35-44, etc. which is 10 years. i do not need my Masters to figure this one out...
i could go on, but I'm too apathetic to keep typing...
but what have we created my generation lacks virtues such as creativity,integrity,intelligence,honesty etc.
