That's not a whip?! ;o That's some club/blunt weapon with spikes on it :P. A whip, as you all probably know, is basicaly a long flexible rope with a pointed(or several/many) tips. Sometimes with barbs, spikes or even studds attached to them.

@zekky1000 You kill Logan after you rescue him in Sen's Fortress and Duke's Archives. Buy Crystal magic weapon and all other spells from him first, It is the best catalyst in the game but halves your spell castings.

@Putridprudential after 1.05 its too easy to dodge and lasts a lot less, so you can just run if the user does catches you depending on his/her and your equipment you either trade hits or block, you cant exploit so much as pre 1.05(twop+spell spam) so its not a big deal

Another silly question, I've been using the demon machete 15+ for a while now (seeing as it's one of the best str scaling weps in the game ) but I haven't tried it in pvp yet though I'm assuming that the slow ass speed would pretty much screw me over, any tips on a decent weapon for pvp ?( currently using a str/end build )

@Putridprudential well its not that slow weapons suck for pvp, high scaling str weapons+ 15 and weapon buffs are damn powerful, you just have to make use of their usually big range and make careful hits as they leave you with big openings, im not sure about good str weapons for pvp as i havent made my str build yet, but i suggest you go with the weapon you like the most, it may not be so good as others but its what you'll have more fun with, thats what matters

@FangsOfKomodo So true, While there are still Glaring issues with Balance in Dks. The game is pretty patched up now. No more Soul Dupe glitch (That was the worst issue because it gave unskilled players the advantage) No more Havels armor iron flesh combination. Better Gold hemmed balance. So I Think FS is doing a good job with the post-release patches lets hope they keep it up.
