Hey Cindy, nice video. Do you know if there were ever any U.S. style wigwags (Magnetic Flagman type) in GB? I know during WWII the U.S. Railroad Administration sent locomotives and rolling stock over to England to help with the war effort, and was wondering if any wigwags made it over there. I know you're a big fan of them--I used to have 2 of them that I restored myself, but I had to sell them when I moved to a smaller house with a smaller yard (garden).

Cool the one in Tipton,my hometown isn't there no more...it's a tunnel now cause of how long it used to take for trains to go and the barriers to go up to let the cars go,the tunnel opened on Jan 18th this year.

The two upper lamps appear to alternately flash as Amercian railroad crossing signals do.

What does the single lower lamp do?

Do many imitate American railway signals?

The single lamp is a steady yellow aspect which is illuminated for 3 to 5 seconds before the red lamps start flashing.

I'm unaware of any US style "flashing reds only" crossing lamps in the UK.
