I don't think you can get up the banyan tree on the original spectrum version because there's one more solid block on the rhs. This is a PC fixed version of the game.

You 've done well there, does anyone know abouit going under the "security guard" and you reach the "entrance to hades" with the big lettters "die mortal"? If I remember rightly (?) there are extra objects, and one of them is located there. To get under the security gaurd I think you can go thru "the forgotton abbey" which leads to "under the drive" (or is under the off icense?) or you can a left jump at the stairs (of sec. guard) and sometimes it let's you thru - also whats above "quirkafleeg"?

great video...thanx for sharing it with us. some of the rooms i had never even seen before. you must have played this to death to perfect some of those jumps...i note you did not have to pass through the banyan tree which was very very difficult!!!!
this is a top game man. i grew up with this game. technician ted is another top game. im 28 years old now and even though i have a ps3 and love street fighter 4 and tekken 6, this game is still played by me on my emulator on a laptop.

I remember playing this game more than 20 yrs ago n also could never complete it (on the Commodore 64), I even cheated but all that happened is Maria disappeared, no ending sequence, found out u only need 2 collect 50 items. Maybe some bug in the program stopped the ending sequence in the C64 version, also when I got 2 out on a limb, I couldn't get back down, got stranded on both that screen and tree top. I knew Willy's head would get stuck in the toilet in the end.

In the original original version, there was a nasty to the left of the right-most item. This made it impossible to get that item.
The removal of this nasty was one of the official "pokes" released by the game's creators.
