Excellent! Super! I have never listened to such a wonderful large scale kumi-taiko or grouped taiko drums like this in my country, Japan in my life. They all must have practiced so hard to play drums so well. Thank you very much for this video. Very, very impresive!

Just to clarify.... I really didn't sneak a video / camera in. I promise I saw no signs posted anywhere that requested no filming of the performance, which is why I had no hesitation in posting them on YouTube for us to enjoy all over again. : - )

We were awesome! Everyone loved our performance the most it seems! We didn't get any practice in at all really that day compared to everyone else but we didn't need it :D. Congrats to everyone in Taiko who performed! I still have my SGI colors in my hair, think I'll rock them a little bit longer x).

Thank you so much for posting the whole thing. That festival is the new start for the future of sgi-usa. When I was at the festival, I used three sheets of kleenex to wipe my tears off my face. With this on youtube, I'll get to do it again.....

232 ferocious Bodhisattvas of the Earth came together on July 10th to make something magical happen. This is the true purpose of Rock the Era. : )

By the way there's probably around 250 youth (at least) in this performance, if you can't tell. They go all the way to the stage at the other end of the arena.

Taiko drums are my absolute favorite.. I was so fortunate to be right on the floor watching them. you could feel the vibration through the floor! thats how strong they are! =D
