Dr. Lyle Sensenbrenner against Embryonic Stem Cell Research

Dr. Sensenbrenner was my hematologist before he returned to Maryland in 1995. He is one of the finest, most caring, conscientious and principled physicians I have ever known. I applaud his testimony before this committee and I am grateful for his care of me during very difficult times.

Embryonic stem cells should not be treated in the manner that they are now.

If all zygotes are to be considered living human beings, then the pro choice police will have to gather up all of the zygotes leftover after infertility treatments and legally force the biological mothers to carry them to term.

...either that, or force the biological parents to pay for the zygote's incubation... or sign them over to be carried to term by surrogate mothers and subsequently put up for adoption.

If pro lifers are to be consistent, they will have to protect the leftover zygote 'population', or outlaw all infertility treatments which result in leftover zygotes.
