  • Worst SW modeling technique ever.

  • @Lamboragon You made that point on the other video, we get it.

  • nx 7,5 rocks

  • the surface resulted is really really bad quality, it;s so obvious.... how can you do this kind of tutorial... it actually makes Solidworks look bad,

  • messy.. =/

  • Very helpful! Please upload more detailed tutorial!

  • good job

  • So I take it SW isn't capable of Class A?

  • @keithyoung SW is pretty good program and is capable of Class-A surfaces by using the right techniques. Extremely wrong results are possible even with the most powerful CAD programs if the man behind the keyboard&mouse don't know how to use the surface tools.

  • You just used a wrong modeling technique for this part at the end of the video. The square surface that represents the air intake must be at least TANGENT or CURVATURE to the main body. It looks like the air intake of that model has only CONTACT to the main body. That's why the fillet surface at the upper edge of the air intake failed and resulted in a complete mess. There is no way to achieve G2 and even G1 with that technique.

  • i think that this is a low quality model. tangency is rubbish, after this part will come out of the form you will have chance to see what a nonsense you are telling to poeple. bless
