The guy at the end of the clip talking about the machines he made seems to be a pretty level headed guy, but good golly does he have a big wide mouth!
I Cant believe that Florian quit Kraftwerk. I am just... flabergasted that he would leave all of those yers with Kraftwerk and have that "worker" at Kling Klang take his space. If anyone knows any other info on him, please reply to this message!!!
Excuse me, but who is the person at the end of the clip, who says he built a few machines for Florian? It would be interesting to have the rest of the clip.. Thanks!
@comsunjava that's sebastian niessen from snd. (s-n-d.com) he made custom equipment for nearly every german electronic musician, who is REALLY into analog sound. (kraftwerk, richard bartz, air liquide…)
Oh well, all good things must eventually come to an end, so it is the same with Kraftwerk. This may be one of the first signs of the band slowly coming to a close. Florian contributed an amazing 40 years to KW, and I don't think it will ever be the same again without him.
Good luck on any future solo projects Florian! Perhaps even the return of the flute? :)
This video just goes to prove what i've suspected for years...Kraftwerk are as nutty as squirrel shit, but god bless them, they are fantastic tunesmiths. Florian, cant you change your mind and go back to your day job??

Most of the bands are not the original team. Thats how bands work. Let new legends grow!

I love in the beginning..
''So how's the shop going for you, Mr Schneider?
''Eh..hep..ep.... ''How's the what?''

I think he should pick up his flute again and rediscover his acoustic self. Ralf & Florian was a magical album!

Sebastian Niessen is based in munich and still builds syths. even his own ones. i used to live in the same street.

If Kraftwerk were elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, would they show up? Can you imagine?

Kraftwerk is so illusive. They are like hermits x10.

I believe it is Sebastian Niessen. Of SND. If you look up Schneiders Buero in Berlin you can find his stuff there.
Mad boxes for sure ....

@ffm20zaheri Why not? The first Kraftwerk LPs are 40 years old. So they are all 60+
