I loved this song the first time I heard it on the movie. It makes me think of my husband and our life. We've been married for 17 years and together for almost 21 years. I completely agree, you have to be together for a long time before you get it. xoxoxo

I loved my wife the first time I saw her. I loved this song when I first heard it with her in 1982. You have to be married for 29 years to get it. It should be played at every wedding - to remind everyone of their frailties! The genius of Joy Division.

Don't get me wrong, this is the best version I've heard of this song. But really, what a HORRIBLE choice for a "first dance" at a wedding. I have mixed feelings about it too. Love the song played slowly (I've heard Joy Division's original version and other bands cover it in faster and slow ways) but something about this guy's voice is a little off even so I still love this slow almost gothic-like, tortured romance version of the song.
