Urban Karate Weapons - Baseball Bat and U-Locks

I thought karate meant : way of the open hand/palm.

I thought that it meant it was a weaponless fighting style.

@RareBrink Actually its a little more complicated than that. Before Japanese karate was form in mainland Okinawa, karate was a Chinese martial art which meant "Chinese hand". The term now means "empty hand", but it is a method of protection that also includes the use of weapons like nunchaku and the bo staff.

dude, this seriously looks like you've been adding your own comments with other accounts. try not putting karate or ninja in your name if you want to make legit looking fake comments. that aside, u locks are a fucking great weapon. spinning a baseball bat around is kinda silly, though. just swing the fucker.

I have to admit that the best way to use a baseball bat is brutally simple: pretend your target's head is a baseball and swing. It's not a very subtle weapon, and once the bat starts a full power swing, attempting to block it will only earn your opponent a painful injury. However, incorporating short chops and jabs with the bat can knock a target off balance, I should think, and certainly spinning around like that would be pretty intimidating. I also like the use of U-locks as arm guards.

That's a good demonstration on some improvised weapons. Another improvised weapon to consider is using a master lock as an improvised knuckle duster :)
