Most are buried or at the bottom of the sea long before a month is up, so really photodegradable is only useful for things dumped on the ground. You also need to check your facts on soda bottles. These are made from PETE and are NOT photodegradable. They are often recycled into clothes, I guess you wouldn't want your clothes to degrade in the sun?
