The deficit WAS over 11 trillion, the wars cost roughly 1 trillion the large part of that deficit had nothing to do with the wars but rather other things like the housing markets, credit companies for instance. However it took bush 8 full years to run that up while obama has spent half that amount with the 2 trillion plus on various packages one being the stimulus and a budget approved for 2010 that is 3.55.
