  • Great accentuation.

  • overcooked as usual...he does have a fantastic technique , but after some time it just gets meaningless and shallow. There's very little depth to his playing and the constant speed just gets boring ...like yngwie malmsteen does he have to play so fast all the time??????give me Tommy Emmanuel anyday..

  • @eunan74 tommy emmanuel's main style is not gypsy jazz. gypsy jazz is played pretty fast, so you really dont think gypsy jazz has any depth. and you also think that it's "constant speed just gets boring" so i suggest you not listen to gypsy jazz players

  • @djbot , you've missed the point completely...no need to be so rude , i was only making an observation..

  • great

  • i hate the idiots that play fast to show off their "guitar skills" big woop original spped is way better

  • @Robinfan5001 i hate classical music with a pick. its easy to play a simple melody like this at fast speeds

  • 2/4 timing? 8 note patterns.. i gotta try practicin this way. very impressive

  • Aha... Still great Rondo del maestro!!

  • Bring me the hands of Joscho Stephan!

  • it has been reported that Bireli laGrene,AndreasÖberg and that Brazilian guy has surpassed J:s tempi on rehearsals, but so far it´s only hearsay and no clocks, cameras or reliable witnesses have been materialising, but what if they played this fast already in the 1800:s ?

  • He's got speedhack that's a clear thing.

  • sooooooo under rated

  • oh my gooood^^ did he took speed?! :D

  • whos crazier Jack Black or Joscho Stephan....there's only one way to find out.....FIGHT!!

  • I love how at 1:15 he has this look on his face, like, 'yeah, that just happened.'

  • @stumpbust So true! Or more like: "oooooh In you face!"

  • Super!........

  • what a great gypsy player you are joscho, thanks for the video.

  • wow!

  • Yes!

  • ???? did the rythme guitarist drop his pick or does he realy play rythme with his thumb? Beautifully played!

  • I'm sorry, but all I see when I look at this guy is Jack Black.

  • haha, I was at his gig in Kilkenny last night and i was trying to work out who he looked like!! brilliant!

  • ah yeah i was thinking the same think ;) he looks like Jack Black, but Jack is crazy actor, Joscho is a crazy guitarist ;)

  • don't know if he's the first to play that song on guitar, but he did it really good!!! many thanks soulsaver

  • he's not the first

  • you're right, i've heard some other guys playing it, but joscho remains THE BEST...

  • I'm not going to argue with you on that. He's brilliant. No doubt about it.

  • brilliant and very simple guy. this makes his talent bigger..

  • this is definitely good guitare.

the pressure he putts on each single note is what make him sound good, and of course he has great speed as well.

  • I do agree with Herve . Jordan must be stupid enough to still believe that playing as fast as possible is playing Well .

    Alan .

  • sorry, but this is much too quick, and just to show off .

technically impressive, but no music in it .

    Hervé

  • this a beyond RIDICULOUS statement.

Go back to listening to linkin park..

This is too advanced to you.

  • it is good to be open-minded, tolerant and music connoisseur like Jordan...

by the way, what is "linkin park" ??

    Hervé

  • @jordanxxx Boy that's a a pretty random comment!

  • @rajbagha it was directed at someone two ytears ago, they didnt show the @username thing back then

  • Have you ever even heard the original piece? This is only barely faster than it was played in Mozart's day. Playing fast started with classical music.

  • of course I know the original .and many versions .

but even played fast, there is some "breathing" in it, and modulations . Not simply thousands of notes thrown away as by a machine-gun .

    Hervé

  • I guess we can do away with Chopin then :)

  • 1:40 xD

  • dam nice

  • he played this with Tommy Emmanuel on Dublin on the 5th of July 08 and it was unbelievable. i mean this is good but the backing is a bit weak. the one with TE blew peoples heads off!!!

  • Tommy did'nt play on this one in Dublin...

    Amazing gig though

  • Absolut Große Klasse !!!

  • one word...

    briliant

  • good skillz

Btw, I need help, I got an email with subject "peterfaj sent you a video!" from YouTube Service linking to this video. wtf?

  • He looks like jack black, but way better guitarist. Thanks for the vid
