Jeannie Seely.
She has such a great and unique voice, she doesn't have a bad song. It's just that some are a little better than others!...Not to mention the other great songs she has written for other artists. She ranks among the greatests like Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Jean Shepard, Jack Greene, and a few others but I must take a break now. Their music was "Real" music the way it was meant to be, unlike much of the crap that is called country music today.

Rik, Fantastic interview!! And the timing is great for me. Evidently, Jeannie Seely was a frontrunner for women artists and songwriters coming into their own. Kind of reminds me of my "Good Old Girl" song. I am still hanging in there with the songwriting and publishing. The only way to fail is to quit trying. This interview is an inspiration to me.
Thanks for reminding me of where I should be.
