I love dogs. mine just died in April and i could never ever replace him. he lived for 17 years! my uncle is a vet in New York, Noahs ark ( the name) and he and dogs have a special connection. If these dogs still need a home we would be glad to take the poor things in, I admire the way you gave a pat to all the dogs. its a sign of hope and it gives them a little bit of love.

My parents adopted a 9 year old dog yesterday, but as we live in Austria, our new buddy is Austrian... If I move to the U.S. one day (and I'm still so sure I will), I will definitley adopt a dog or a cat, I couldn't live without an animal by my side :)

Poor things are so starved of attention and would be such wonderful pets/companions. They were all so well behaved and friendly too. Some shelters let people foster dogs if they cant adopt. It keeps the animals off death row and lowers the numbers semi-permanently in the shelters. It also relieves some of the financial cost the shelter carriers in looking after them.

ah...seriously can't get enough of pitbulls. Easily the most loyal breed out there. That is the initial intention for this breed. Sad how human beings slowly turned that loyalty around and used it to exploit them for money.

I think it is lovely to see people willing to help these beautiful creatures. I have bought one myself from an animals' home in Denmark and I cannot stop loving her :D

My only concern is, why are they all placed in such a small area? I hope that they had more space and what about water? Were they adopted then ? :D

Please don't get dogs from Petsmart; get dogs from your local shelters. There are 1000s of dogs that need help there. Dogs from Petsmart (and other pet stores) are most likely from the puppy mills that haphazardly breed dogs.
