Looks like a bad Drawn 2 Life remake, no offense to anyone. Looks like a decent platformer and engaging puzzle game, but with all the personalization type games coming out for Wii, I can't believe nobody's aimed for a Graffiti Kingdom type gameplay...

You can draw pretty much whatever you want, just don't expect it to all be useful, lol.

Also, I kind of wished you could do more with the pen other than make platforms. It'd have been very cool to make some simple devices much like in Crayon Physics Deluxe where you can create pulleys, elevators, and other neat things.

For the price though, still pretty fun as is any game that lets you use your imagination instead of solely relying on what the developer wants you to see and use.

I haven't played the WiiWare version but I have tried the full PC version (it's a standalone game rather than flash based like the demo). I thought it was really fun but I did have a couple complaints about it.

1. The music (while good) did need some more variety as it runs on a very tight loop if you get stuck in one part.

2. The game still has some glitches remaining. One of these actually caused me to get "stuck" in the sliding animation on a box. No way out of it but to restart.

Normally I wouldn't play a cartoony game like this, but this game is quite a novelty to play. I enjoyed it, and it was fun watching my son play. I was a bit taken aback to see another wiiware review demon ^_^ they finally released one you wanted huh? I got the Phoenix wright game because I missed it on the DS first time around, but I'm guessing that wasn't a problem for you (Mr 50 DS games in its first year :p)

As for PWAA, it's basically a port of the DS game, but with a couple of differences (mainly controls). The only downside to the wiiware version I've found are is that when 2 screens are both there together (happens rarely) it's a bit small and hard to see, but that's hardly a big problem. And chapter 5 will be DLC later in the year is a shame, but if it's only 100 points as they say it will be it'd still be cheaper than tracking the original down now :)

Once I done Phoenix I never had anyway to ever go through it again because I knew how to beat it. It's the only downside to the genre.

1000 wiipoints is pretty good deal for this innovative game even if short.

One question how easy is the drawing mechanic ?

Compared to Okami for Wii? I hated drawing in Okami thought it was clunky is this smoother?

I never played Okami bud but it works pretty well. It all depends on how steady your hand is.

I don't really class it as innovative, because I've played so many games like this now.
