thank you for all replies, i must think this all through, but i agree i must understand the self. I find it strange though, that this attempt of introspection has been a very difficult struggle for about 2 years, what changes when one can be their Self? Am i walking down a beaten path knowing that eventually i'll find this village?

Self is beyond knowing. Knowing belongs to mind. If you really want to find yourSelf, why understand it then? The attempt to understand itself is the veiling of who you are. Introspection is not difficult. It is as effortless as your outrospection that you are a master at. Im making up the outrospection to mean that you are used to looking outside to the world, world of thought and experiences. That same looking can be turned backwards to find the source of thought and experience. -- zenji
