it brought back memorys for me, i was in philly and upper darby pa, back in 1976.

i was just a teen at that time,my aunt lived there and i had another aunt we visited in new jersey,,and back then i even got to touch the liberty bell, it was not roped off or anything like it is now, thanks for this wonderful video i enjoyed it,

Great video. I love the southern half of New Jersey, from Cherry Hill to Cape May to Atlantic City to Toms River...the whole area is beautiful. I like the greenery of the summer. Thanks for sharing.

It is great there. I lived about 10 miles from Toms River. The areas in the video were in Lakewood and Jackson NJ and of course Philadelphia PA near the ending.

I really enjoyed the pie and the pastries. I usually visit Three Brothers From Italy for a great pie there in Seaside Heights. Wish we could have talked more at Yo'Tube but my daughters kept me busy. It sure was hot that day in Philly.

20 years ago is how long ago it was when we moved out of NJ to VA. I remember Fort Dix. My neighbor who lived next door to me in NJ would talk me up there once in a while. Sure remember those low flying aircraft. It was fun visiting again.

I know what you mean about friendly. Most of the people there in NJ who never met us before talk to us like they have known us for years. That is something I have been used to while growing up in NJ.

We go to both Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant Beach since they were very close to my old hometown. We really enjoy the boardwalk and the pizza. 3 Brothers From Italy has the best pizza around. I ate there when we were at the beach the last time. We have also gone over to Wildwood many years ago. We miss the sound of the ocean and the seagulls.

Being from California and not one of the major cities, I never was in a real Italian neighborhood until I met my wife. In Toronto it is like it must have been in the USA before the 1960's.

We always have a blast when traveling back towards my hometown. I usually stock up on lots of specialty foods and take them back to VA with us.

Speaking of Toronto, we might go up there and visit some YouTubers at the 8/8/8 YouTube gathering ther at the Science Center. It is a good 690 mile drive from here in VA so thats almost 1400 miles round trip.

I started making my own but it is hard work. It is also hard to find a special ricotta cheese called Impastata Ricotta which is the authentic cheese they use in the cannoli and ravioli. Since this special cheese can be found in NJ I might as well just buy the cannoli at the bakery while I am up there.

Those Italian pastries are so addicting and so good! Many times I have traveled over 900 miles round trip just to eat out and spend the day in NJ.

One of our good friends from NJ rode with us and he volunteered to use the camera for some shots. The camera is mostly used by me and at times Brittany will use it. I also have a special mount in the car for the camera so I can take scenic shots sort of like how the cameras are setup in the police cars.

It was real fun! We all enjoyed your company when we were in PA. A day does not go by without my kids mentioning something about Kairi or our trip to PA.
