  • Modern day Americans are mongrels and are in no way Irish. They are only distantly related to the Irish, while not a single one really is.

  • Irish in america = Great. Union General of the U.S army Philip Sheridan, Architect of the White house James Hoban, sublime writers like Eugene O'Neill, presidents Kennedy and Reagan. Irish-americans have a fantastic history.

  • think of it like counterfeit goods. may look real but still fake

  • @mcproductions91 No,they don't.Yeah,you do sound dumb.

  • @mcproductions91 They have become entwined with American culture, making this country what it is.The various cultures do not disappear. That's the beauty of it.

  • @mcproductions91 Wrong.It is most defintely a melting pot.Go to any large city & you'll see it.

  • ireland: one of the smallest rocks on the beach, yet makes one of the largest ripples in the sea.

  • the only thing he is missing is the CONFEDERATE IRISH since the south was full of scotch irish and irish that filled most of the ranks of the confederacy

  • Lazy alcoholics. That is fact.

  • @OrangeDemocrats Ignorant bigoted english lackey.Get a goddamn map.Ireland isn't England or Scotland.

  • I am sorry, this is not EARLY IRISH AMERICAN history, you will have to go back a couple hundred years before that. @MrDublin56 ...Yes Dublin is a beautiful city I was just there:), I was born with blonde after my teens it turned dark on me. @222MacGregor... Irish and Scots in America are pretty well mixed....especially those that came BEFORE the 1800's so don't be a git. If you are 110... I am 10. Everyone breathe and just know that videos are just that, videos, not everything is right, slan.

  • @Ravenspoetry333 The Irish weren't here in large numbers then. The Irish here were those that served in the brit army.Where do you think the St.Patrick's Day Parade in New York got it's impetus from?Trying to give those soldiers a piece of home in the new world,as most of them didn't want to be here. Both groups were from different parts of Ireland, had different religions & were different peoples.

  • W.t.f. this is dead peoples baggage ,get over it . Maybe i should blame those nasty Vikings for making me tall with blond hair .The Norse bastards.

  • The irish enslave them selves always have done, today in ireland if you are looking for a job you might get one if your east european or have a black face, no one will employ irish people because they tend to be lazy. If you look at any place hotel mc donalds or and factory you will see very little irish working in these places in ireland. so whats wrong we have 450,000 people on european hand out money, we have 350,000 more in jobs that are being supported by european hand out money.

  • @TheLongfords Funny how you english apologists always say that.Amazing how the Irish have thrived everywhere they went.Must have something to do with that bigoted mindset.

  • not, difficult or not, this was our home. Besides, we'd shared a common suffering with the black Africans as far as slavery and harsh treatment and though the civil war wasn't truly about slavery (There was much more to it actually), it was very much sold as that to the common man and for good reason.

In the end respect and rights were earned, not given freely...and fought for with blood, sweat and tears but we had the knack for it through a strange intertwining of circumstances and events, p

  • @N1k1mon The Irish participation in the American Civil War was their portal to more acceptance in this country.Their later venture into American political life came about because of their loyal service. The War wasn't sold as a vehicle for emancipation of blacks. It was seen as saving the Union, which was the main reason for it.There was animosity between black & Irish American communities. They were both on a low rung in society and were rivals economically speaking.Acceptance was grudgingly given.

  • won our (I'm of both Irish & Scottish descent) respect. It wasn't just through fighting in the civil war, though it definitely played a big role in recognition of the Irish, there were a lot of occupations that were considered "courageous" and jobs nobody else wanted to do. Our attitude was recognized as exceptional during the civil war because we felt it would be a disgrace not to pitch in (Of course there's always a few bad apples..) and help because this is where we lived, discrimination or

  • Then when the mass murder of a million and a half in Ireland occurred circa 1845-1852. Many decided it was worth it to get out of there, so they came in droves. Only the stage was already set to keep them down and subjugated and they were mostly treated the same as the negroes of the times. Their ancestors who were kidnapped or sold into it had been slaves in America too, obviously you can imagine how easy it would be to keep stereotypes alive because of that.

Like it says in the video, we w

  • @derekdean100

I think you mean... Because there's a lot of Irish people in America... Therefore there it was a joint effort or something?

The reason there's so much Irish stuff going back a long way is due to the fact the British and their bankers and financiers were slaving them, scots, welsh and their own peasants too.

Then for numerous reasons they turned it into a mixture of freedom and Indentured servitude, that's when bringing the black Africans over became more popular.

    Then when t

  • Irish suck, SCOTTISh rule

  • The best athletes ( boxers, runners, wrestlers) are either Black or Irish the greatest americans are Martin Luther King jr and Ronald Reagan. Irish and black people have done so much for America.

  • @commandoslayer Fuck Reagan. He screwed American working men & women.

  • It's "greeted" not "greated"

  • FUNNY THING IS,THERES MORE IRISH IN AMERICA THAN THE HOLE OF IRELAND,BUT AMERICA AND IRELAND ARE SO CLOSE AND HAVE BEEN 4 YEARS NOW,THE AMERICANS LOVE THE IRISH BUT HATE THE ENGLISH

  • @derekdean100 ur wrong there kiddo! just go through irish american clips on yt and just look at the haterad and raceism towards us!

  • @derekdean100 There is an anti-english sentiment in the American Irish community. That's because a lot of our families lived through english brutality in Ireland. The Irish in Ireland do not have a good relationship with us anymore.Their treatment of our service people going through their airports going to & from the war zone has soured Americans on them. The American people,on the whole, are not anti-english.

  • @derekdean100 Irish Americans are not Irish, they are American. How many Americans can speak Irish?

  • @ojideagu How many Irish can speak Irish.

  • @Marydawgs Most Irish are at least taught some words at school. About 2 Million can speak it.

  • @ojideagu My mother & father spoke it.

  • @Marydawgs People born in England with Irish parents are often seen as English, especially when they don't have an Irish accent. Many Irish people will see them as English if they don't have an Irish accent. So you can see why Americans are given a hard time by British and Irish people when they say they are irish.

  • @ojideagu We have nothing to do with that.None,I mean none,of us are anything but American. When we refer to Ireland,it's our Irish blood, history, culture we mean. Most of us have a lot of family in Ireland, for god's sake. All you have done is alienate us.My money & my time will be spent in the 50 US states.See what you've accomplished with your ugliness.Good going.

  • @Marydawgs over 300 hundred thousand speak as first language on daily basis myself included and a further 2 million as a second language.

  • @JordoF6 Glad it hasn't fallen into disuse. The brits sure tried hard enough to eradicate Irish culture.Must piss them off that the Irish didn't roll over for them.Good for you!

  • @Marydawgs It's hilarious how so many Americans jumped out the windows after the first plane smacked into the Twin Towers.

  • @MrRobertJameson Fuck you,who will pull your ass out of the fire when Germany kicks your door down again?Won't be the US.You can have your islamist brothers help you.

  • catholics support the touchin up of little kids just ask any priest!!!!!

  • @swiftubag1001 Bigot.

  • @mcproductions91 America is most definitely a melting pot. Why else do you think the tag "-American" would be added? For example, if an American were to acquire Canadian citizenship, they would be considered both a Canadian and an American in Canada, whereas, they would only be considered an American in the US. That's why an "American culture" has been formed over time. Anyone coming from another country other than the US is automatically assimilated into American culture upon living there.

  • @mcproductions91 Two things that are semantically incorrect with your comment: 1) Judaism is not a race, but a religion; 2) "American" is a nationality, not a race (much like the term "Irish"). Although America has most definitely become a "melting-pot" nation over time, there is no such thing as an "American" race.

  • @ComedyNurd Idiot.We are a multi-racial country.We are Americans.We aren't euros,thankfully.The Irish are a race.Must be a english jerk.

  • @Marydawgs If you don't qualify for an irish passport you are not Irish. Americans are not irish.

  • @ojideagu Wrong.US citizens with grandparent or parent born in Ireland are eligible for Irish citizenship. You don't define me.

  • @Marydawgs That's what I said, If you qualify for a passport then you are Irish. If not, tough.

  • you are not irish if you were born in America !!! this is why you plastic paddys are hated weather you live in the USA, Scotland, England or ireland.. If you want to be irish so bad go live in that third world country !!! one god one country one flag !!! losers !!

  • Death to Catholics.

  • @ProtestantThomas Calm down Ya stinkin German

  • there are only 32 million Irish people in the world, we need to appreciate each other.

  • What European citizens don't understand is that American's are first and foremost proud to be American. some of the most patriotic people on earth..but we are incredibly proud of where we come from and the sacrifices people before us made to make what our country is today. We are a land of every race and ethnicity and are incredibly proud of that. love and respect to all nations

  • @88McCloskey exactly...very well said

  • There are no Irish people in America.

    Ancestry is not nationality.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl So your Ancestors must be German then? =P

  • @Peppepoppldoppl They're irish-americans if born in US and of irish descent.

  • @repoman174 Americans, not Irish.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl So you're saying that someone who's ancestors have lived in Ireland for over 5,000 years, since the first migration of people arrived there and even evolved to fit the climate, all of that history just maigically disappears with one generation in America?I have to disagree, you're culture may be american but your blood is Irish. Its like a german shepherd raised among rotweilers, its still a german shepherd.I simply think you don't love your race personally, that's why you say that.

  • @repoman174 Irish is referred to the people who live in Ireland, (save immigrants). NOT Americans with the ancestry you constantly rag about. 5,000 years ago the Cro-Magnon lived in Ireland, not the Celtic people.

Nope, Americans are not Irish, Irish ancestry is ANCESTRY. NOT nationality.

  • @repoman174 Pfft, I am Scottish, I live in Orkney. NOT American.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Trolls belong under the bridge, git git !

  • @WolfArden44 Yes, so why don't you go back there, then?

    "Irish" American tub of lard.

  • @repoman174 Peppepoppldoppl is correct: people born and raised in the US (even if of Irish descent) are not Irish. They are American. The term "Irish" refers only to nationality. They can be, however, considered Americans of Irish descent, or "Irish-American" as you had previously stated.

  • I remember my uncle telling when he went to England back in the 50s. He was walking past a sign outside a house that said no Blacks No Irish. But someone wrote underneath it. who ever wrote this wrote it well for the same thing is written on the gates of hell.

  • @Emerald007007 WHAT? my irish family has not once seen anything like this in england....not even the old ones.

  • @brightonblock lol Did you suddenly in the past hour go around and phone all of your family, even the THE OLD ONES.lol and see if they did see anything like this. Why do I have the funny feeling your telling porkies as you English say,

  • god bless ireland:) god bless american my family got on a boat in 1850...im american by birth and irish by heart:)

  • i respect them. they've been a builders of united states

  • if your american be proud of your heritage never forget where u come from. im irish and if anybody in ameria claims their irish i take it as a compliment as they havnt forgotton about us irish, if you dont have irish roots you can still be irish on st patricks day lol. everyone stop talkin shit about the IRA you dont know the half of it. USA in my opinion is the greatest country in the world they have the best of everything, Irish, African, Italian, Jewish, Mexican and they all work together

  • I think a lot of folks think our "irish pride" thing is some sort of plastic paddyism. It's not. We're American, but we know where we come from. Fuck, it's only in the mid-20th century where we were even accepted as humans here. Cheers from your celtic cousins across the pond.

  • @hubtest1 im from dublin, your not plastic to us irish after u are irish just living over the pond lol. keep ireland in your hearts and be proud my cousin.

  • @irishanto3 Erin Go Bragh! greetings from a mexican

  • @aguichris whats up friend, why does your profile say russia just wondering. anyway was watching some videos of how americans treat the mexicans in usa and its terrible. how is mexico its a great country greeting from ireland

  • @irishanto3 I have no clue why I left that .. yes it is terrible I agree mexico is great but recently its been having some major violence problems and the americans for some reason blame all the illegal immigration it gets to the mexican people although the majority is mexican but they should be fair because many other south americans and asian use mexico to cross to the u.s

  • @irishanto3 p.s I look up to, the Irish they were brave in america I have many respects for them and they will always be remembered for those brave men that fought on our side, hopefullly the mexican people can get through some rough discrimination done by the americans its hard sometimes

  • @irishanto3 Greetings from an Irish-Mexican living in Mexico

  • @irishanto3 remember to the WEST brother and to our WEST is our original home

  • @Southernjuggalo63 i mean every part of america east, west, south, north to be proud of your irish blood. btw im not 100% sure about the civil war, but what exactly where the confederates fighting for

  • @irishanto3 ok the civil war started for many reasons states rights over the federal government and they placed high tariffs on the shippings most of ports were in the south at that time when they left the union the federal government lost a lot of money in the economy so the south at forth sumpter south carolina general boureguard(french man from louisiana) send word to the fedeartal bought land giving themm 3 chances to evacuate a seceeded part of land

  • @irishanto3 there was a 10 yr build up to the civil war

  • @irishanto3 The ability to keep slavery as an integral part of their economy. That wasn't going to happen.New territory coming into the Union would not be allowed to keep slavery as a way of doing business.Slavery would be starved out of existence,as the slave states would not have the voting power in Congress to protect their interests. The war was long in coming. It was a problem from the very founding of the nation.

  • @irishanto3 Thank you so much for your comment. There is so many horrible things hurled at American Irish. For what?Because our parents had to leave & make their way in a strange land.Leaving their native land and those they loved was very painful. They made sure their children knew and cherished their Irish heritage.

  • @irishanto3 LOOK AT THIS GUYS PROFILE PAGE. ITS A VERY POOR ATTEMPT AT A FAKE IRISH PAGE. LOL

  • @brightonblock why would i fake being irish when i am irish. born in belfast, falls road then moved to o'connell street dublin. i support cliftonville, chelsea and shamrock rovers. ask me anything about ireland and ill just make fun of you in front of everyone u twat

  • @irishanto3 now i know where you live. this is the internet man, a quick google search does not prove anything. so clearly a FAKER. to be sure.

  • @irishanto3 shamrock rovers.....come off it mate

  • @brightonblock what their stadium is just down the street from me. what did u want me to say derry city?

  • @brightonblock to be sure to be sure

  • UP THE SOUTH

  • Im of Irish descent back in the late 1800's but I am English firstly you Irish Americans cling to heritage too much and for the ones who support the IRA yer thanks for funding bombs in my home city of Birmingham im sure the dozens who died also care for your support of IRA.

  • @jackthevillain Jack, that is a myth about Americans funding the IRA. Think about it a moment. If the IRA had really received that kind of monetary support and ordnance, it would have settled the matter forty years ago.

  • @margotdarby

Americans did fund the IRA through NORAID. Its very well documented and its kind of useless to deny it. And thatfunding helped lead to a lot of dead Irish and British men, women and children.

We aren't talking about the US government here (although they did turn a blind eye towards it), we are talking about private funding through organisations like NORAID which the US government refused to crack down on.

  • @jackthevillain and thank you very much for 2 BLOODY SUNDAYS and 400 hundred+ years of rape murder and pillage

  • Proud to be Irish

  • You sure love us Irish huh?

  • When we learn 2 leave the events of history in the past, hopefully we can move 4ward in this world!

  • The Irish people are White People! Why is it Racism? :/

  • @TheSkankat i was gone very quiet cause i actually have a life off youtube and yea ireland was the only country to give nazi refuge after the war ;) most nazis siught refuge in western europe, the usa, canada and australia!!!

  • well...now all the americans want to be irish ;)

  • county down, (i know its in the north) where my origins lie

  • cork Ireland where my family came from

  • I'd like to say 'FUCK YOU'' to all americans not happy with the culture we've given you.

  • @TheSkankat wow your actually even dumber than i taught hitler didnt promise ireland independance england did hence why so many irish fought for the brittish army during world war two my grandad been one of them and yes their was a group of people who took sides with hitler not because they agreed with any of the nazi policies but because as everyone knows the enemy of my enemy is my friend ever heard that before

  • @TheSkankat maybe you should read a little further into your history before you make a retarded comment like that what about the irish men who were conscipted into world war 2 on the promise when the war was done ireland would be given independance and what did they come home to thats right the black and tans oh wait you probably dont know what they were so never mind you just go back to your little bubble

  • @TheClanenceter. Well Holy God! I only got off the plane yesterday in Orlando from Dublin. I know I have a bad memory but I was Irish when I got on.

  • no one in America is Irish

  • @001Dixie: I'm Irish-American and I'm convinced you're right. However, the Irish hatred for American-Irish (and American's in general) is a relatively new phenomenon. It seems to be most prevalent among the young. I just don't think we Irish American's have gotten the memo yet just how they feel about us. But when we start figuring it out (particularly the Boston and New York Irish) those fuckers who emigrate here better watch out because it's us Irish Americans who give their sorry asses jobs

  • @tomthefunky i dont think its so much hatred towards irish amercians i ithink young irish just think we were born here their fore im irish if i was born in scotland and my parents were irish people wouldnt mind me calling myself irish i think what annoys so many people is when someone says "oh im irish" and when you ask them were they are from they reply with something along the lines of "well its that far back i dont really know how im irish but i was told im part irish"

  • @shmad1: So someone who claims Irish ancestry but doesn't know much about their Irish ancestry is enough to make someone from Ireland angry? That's ridiculous.

You know what makes me angry? Irish people who hate America (and Americans) but choose to move to America, in the hopes American's will give them jobs. That's a hell of alot worse than some Irish-American who doesn't know the name of the little shanty town their great-grandmother is from.

  • @tomthefunky You're getting worked up by something 001Dixie said. If you had checked him out before commenting, you would clearly see he is an Irish hating troll. He was an apartheid era soldier, and on Afrikaans speaking videos he bemoans the end of white only rule in South Africa. I don't know why he hates Ireland, if he even lives there. Maybe he objects to sharing seats with black people on Irish transport etc. Irish people don't hate Americans. That is a stupid generalisation.

  • @tomthefunky There is no such thing/nationality as an "Irish-American" any more, the term originally applied to Irish born immigrants who sailed for America, then they became American citizens, their children then became Americans full stop. Then these 'American' children grew up, got married to other Yanks of other descents and produced children of two descents (i.e. Half Half) then their children grew and produced multiple descent Children and it repeats over and over to where you are now.

  • @Calengela shut up. so what would u call president kennedy? an american of irish decent? hes not just american. blacks are african americans, we have scotish, german, french, russian and on and on and only the irish of ireland claim the irish americans are only americans. maybe the irish in america just have more pride then you in ireland. go to the cities in Boston, Chicago, New York and Philadelphia, youll see irish flags, shamrocks and prominent irish americans everywhere. we are irish

  • The potato famine is a lie. It was really a holocaust.

  • @rugbymom75 No haha, the potato famine was not a holocaust.

Typical idiotic statement from an American.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl a moronic statement from an idiot. Great Britain suffered the blight too but they did not starve to death. They stole all the food from Ireland and kept them from fishing. They refused to help. 1.5 million irish dead. IT WAS A HOLOCAUST. I suggest you educate yourself.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Might as well have been the fuckin brits did naught,Just let us fuckin starve

  • ...then they went on to proving they were true white americans, by lynching blacks and expressing incredible racism towards them. btw they didn't go to war because they loved their new homeland, they were forced to. but hey, whatever you want to call yourself, i couldn't care less...

  • Who cares! They can get over it. Worry about their failing economy.

  • @001Dixie It's true. They utterly hate Americans. If only "Irish-Americans" knew it... They would take much less pride in a people that would spit in their face.

  • @001Dixie WHy despise? You all from you'r homelands would have no idea what it's like to grow up where everyone is so different. You have no where near the amount of people or diversity as here. People like to identify with who they feel most comfortable. Ethnicities is how it has largely been done. So I really do not get the hate. You should be honored they support where they descended from.

  • @reba623 What he's saying is true. The Irish hate Americans, specifically the "Irish-Americans", even though it's those Americans who have the greatest love and respect for them. How do they respond to that kindness? With complete hate and disrespect. Someone has to tell these Americans the truth. They assume there is a connection between them and the people of Ireland, in reality, only they feel the connection. The Irish despise them.

  • @reba623 As an American, I can understand the reasoning behind why some Americans feel such a kinship with Ireland. Many of their communities were shaped and defined by the Irish immigrants that came over, wave after wave, and helped to structure the culture and polity of our society. But still, they should see the reality. You can have respect for those immigrants without cow-towing to people who don't want to provide the same decent respect back to you.

  • @PhiloAmericana Most of us Irish don't care about you Yanks, we rarely mention you, for example, before coming on to youtube I never even knew Plastic Paddie Yanks even existed, but the reason the hate towards them is a new phenomanon is because we only started hearing about you ripping off our identity via the internet and mediums such as youtube, but most of us just laugh at your claims of being Irish at the end of the day, we just see you as Americans (Yanks) and nothing else.

  • @Calengela I've never made any claim to being Irish, and frankly, could care less about them. I only stated that some Americans prize that part of the history of their communities. But frankly, it was the interplay of various cultures that produced America, and not an impoverished group of Irish immigrants. As far the Irish laughing at Americans, well.. Greece is defaulting, guess who is next? :)

  • @Calengela Most of you Irish don't care about us Yanks? Then explain why my town here in Queens, New York is littered with you? Why do so many of you come here looking for work? And if you cared so little about us then explain why your government slashed it's corporate tax rates specifically to attract American business in the nineties? Oh yeah, and if you knew how much American tourist dollars contribute to Ireland's economy you wouldn't be talking such nonsense, you dummy.

  • @tomthefunky this one's a real jerk. Those of us who grew up in the U.S. of Irish parentage know the truth. We are still very close to our Irish families here and in Ireland. We know who we are and need no instruction from fools online.

  • @tomthefunky I am not one to say I dont like Americans but all I am saying about your comment is that the Irish people living in Queens did not move there cause they care about Americans, they moved there to get a better life and the Irish goverment slashed its corporate tax rates only to attract American business men for there money and not because they woke up in the morning and said Oh lets slash our tax rates because we love and care about random Americans.

    You Americans are nice people.

  • @jd47jd: You missed my point entirely. I know you don't care about us in any tender kind of way. But you sure as hell care about our dollars. And that bugs me too because I have to share a city with a bunch of Irish people who take jobs FROM Americans but have no desire whatsover to BE Americans. They are leeches. Like leeches, they attach themselves to a host, suck it's blood dry, and then drop off when it's had it's fill.

  • @tomthefunky I know what you are saying but its like that everywhere now cause everything is about money in the world today.

We come over to the States to find work cause there is no work at home cause now the Eastern Europeans have come to Ireland looking for work and its a normal thing.

There was a time when the Americans came here for work during the Celtic Tiger.

Its called Imirgration and its common and knowone is a leeche. It all happens everywhere with every nation.

  • @tomthefunky why would the Irish who have travelled to the US for work consider themselves American? People all over the world have moved to different countries to get employment yet they dont attach themselves to that country. It seems you are anti-irish. Maybe you could call into an irish pub in your city and spout your bigotry instead of hiding behind a computer

  • @manicbassa: What kind of a country would America be if all the millions of immigrants were only looking out for themselves? I'll tell you. We wouldn't be a country at all. America would be a chaotic loony-bin full of squabbling races, ethnicities, and religions. But we are not like that. We have managed over the centuries to form a cohesive nation of like-minded, assimilated people. We are a nation of laws, not men.

  • Today, American kids still can't tell Canada from Mexico.

  • "No Irish Need apply". who ever wrote this wrote this well, for the same is written on the gates of hell. NO IRISH NEED APPLY.

  • @001Dixie There not despised, only ignorant assholes say and im irish born here.

  • pure white ginger saying im half black

    .......

  • Like this comment if you hate carrying out flame wars 500 characters at a time.

  • @DJCaesar Thumbs up to the 500 characters at a time. I'm with ya. lol. Ok it's been real, gotta scat. Peace.

  • Yep, it's obvious its a whole other set of rules when discussing Irish history.

Not allowed to do so. lol

  • Ireland used to be so poor that so many Irish people had to leave home and move to other countries. I really hate to say this, but this large Irish immigration wave to America HURT the US economy. There were poor and uneducated, but Americans still had to pay for their children's education. I am not going to lie, but I don't like Irish at all. It's DISGUSTING that some pigs in Ireland have the nerves to say that Irish helped build America. Even DOGS express their gratitude better!

  • @ttiiyy Well aren't you a nice uneducated moron. The Irish immigrants were poor and uneducated because of what they came from in Ireland , which was poverty and starvation due to the English oppression in Ireland. The Irish DID help build America. The Irish immigration wave hurt the US economy? How so? By building all the railroads and fighting wars for America? And "Dogs and Pigs? " Hmmm What a gracious bigot you are. Some things never change eh. lol

  • @ttiiyy You dont really have any clue about what youre talking about. At the time the large "wave" hit America most Americans couldnt read or write either. Most immigrants to America were poor period. The Irish paid for their own education through work and taxes. Since 1925 you could safely say that the Irish educational system was of a higher standard than the US. Most American children cant tell Canada from Mexico on a map.Education always was and still is priority with most Irish people.

  • @KiNGZeDDi3x Do us a favor will ya, before you make assumptions regarding American History, try researching it first ,will ya. Read a bit. Making uneducated guess's only makes you look foolish.

  • @KiNGZeDDi3x Bullshit, Irish Catholics also fought in the American Revolution. A few examples that period, There were Irish Catholics in the Virginia Colony prior to 1633.
