This is really cool and creative. I'm thinking about building your turn signal jacket project (nice tutorial!) with my 11yr old son - he thinks that would be cool&fun. I'm a professional software developer, so I'm not concerned about the software, and I have played with hardware before.

The sensors in this video are skin-conductance sensors painted directly onto the page. They are resistive sensors that are measuring the resistance between 2 conductive plates/areas of paint. When you put your hand on a sensor, the sensor measures the resistance of your body. This value changes as you change the amount of skin touching the sensor, pressure, etc.
@buechley Where can I buy this painted sensors? I used smd buttons, but they are not the same thing... could you tell me what the exact name of this painted 'sensor' is? thank you very much!
