actually this happened to me and I wasn't using any cheats. it was just a random bug and it killed my game+ GBC... I used the computer to let oak check my pokedex and he made this wierd noises and everything went messed up until my GBC turned itself of and I wasn't able to turn it on anymore (even after rejecting the game)
