I agree with 100% of what you're saying especially you pointing out something that annoys the piss out of me, that to the general public Muppets or Henson Studios altogether equals "Sesame Street". IT DOES NOT. Sesame Street is just ONE property they've produced. Muppets & SS are NOT the same thing.
The first Muppet movie had Doc Hopper. the owner of a Frog Legs fast food chain. I dont remember anyone talking about how the Muppets were communists back then
