That's right, but shuffle has the syncopated rhythm called swing. Swing is jazz, boogie, blues and in this case, in shuffle. The shuffle is a variation of the blues. This piece is more a jazzy blues from the swing era (Basie's and big bands era) than a blues shuffle such as Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Pride and Joy", for example. But I appreciate your observation about it!
