The only reason I came to this page was to see how it was done. Now that I've seen it, I appreciate it for the quality job it is, but the main motivation was educational. Odd that anyone would think that how it was done would be of little interest.
This was very nicely done, really, but I can promise you nobody, but nobody, cares what kind of camera was used to take the photos and what kind of software was used to put it together. Take any TV show, any movie, past present or future, and you will never, ever, ever see this information. Because it's unprofessional and they know nobody cares.
@dakotaridge Sorry, but I would not like to agree with you ! If someone is so much devoted in a specific artwork like time lapse needs to share his passion together with all those who are in a deep interest with, because he understands that many who are several steps behind him (like me) would like to know the equipment because this assists them progressing faster. If you're not in it, you don't understand how it is to share the "gadget" technical info :-)
Aw wow! Really good work. Some of the takes are just beyond words.
How did you pan? I've just started doing time lapse videos and at the moment I pan manually (LOT'S of patience required!). Have a look at my first sample I've posted if you get the time as any advice from someone who knows how will really help.
This is sooo beautiful, you spent 5 weeks or more on this, I know that for sure <3 Thank you for taking the time to entertain the world with TRUE beauty <3
I have done a lot of photography in the Southwest and I really like the work you are doing. I have seen your video 10 times and just don't get tired of it.
Freaking gorgeous!!! I just put my first time lapse together - Hey - what sort of hardware are you using for the panning? I put together all of my pans in post... so obviously not anywhere near of a dramatic effect.
That was absolutely beautiful! I loved everything about it. The music and animation were incredible, magnificent and comforting. Thanks for the journey! 5 stars!
thanks for the friend invite. this video is amazing - takes my breath away. especially the time lapse panning. truly amazing - it is clear many hours (days? weeks?) and much love and travel went into the making. don't stop admiring and elevating natural beauty and wonder.
Dude...that stuff is gorgeous! I"ve actually been to some of those places!!! WOW!!! You got chops. Not sure what you are going to do in your life...but whatever it is...it's gonna be beautiful...and in fast motion...and with a smooth, tempo groove hovering around in the air somehow.
Thanks for the Friend invite! I had to subscribe to your channel. Your time lapse movies are incredible. I wish you great luck in the future and hope to see your name on the BIG screen one day! Here's to people who see thing differently! 5 stars my friend.
Wow! What a beautiful, amazing piece of work. The music by Ghost Orchid is such a lovely soundtrack to your video. I'm sure it won't be long before they are signed and you are making the big bucks! I'm favoriting this one!
Thanks for the friend request. This is great... and I can only imagine how much work it must have been. I haven't done a time lapse using a photo camera yet. Was the panning automated? I only once built a shaky construction out of a block of ice under a foot of the tripod to get the motion from the melting process, but I wouldn't know how to do these.
