  • I was a high school senior in 73' . This song was/is the stuff. We used to jam out on this. That trombone solo was the benchmark for all trombone players back in the day. James Brown- Rhythmic Genius!!!!!

I graduated in the 70's as well and so did my two brothers and me and my friends used to have house party's and we would jam to this and all of James Brown and his exxtended crew! I grew up in NY on Long Island but we woudl all go to The Bronx on the weekends and party with our cousins! James Brown was a definite MUST HAVE! My kids love these jams and I feel sorry for kids today because they do not know what real soul music is! They hear samples but this is the real deal!
