Well some "regular people" around my area will be loosing their jobs because a certain small businesses won't be able to afford the tax increase and will have to let some people go if they don't get a tax break.
Other businesses are just closing. With savings gone, no tax breaks, owners can't hang on. The people with the money create the jobs, and increasing taxes has never fixed a recession. Tell that to your liberal atheist friends.
