I don't like Dutrow at all, he is incredibly arrogant and inconsiderate, but Big Brown isn't just another horse. I seriously doubt Curlin is just going to walk all over him. Though I do favor Curlin over him, Curlin's more experienced, more powerful, an all around monster. But it's not right to say Big Brown is nothing, when that clearly isn't true.
Because Big Brown is three and the media only ever pays attention to the Triple Crown. Curlin was recognized last year because he ran in all three races, but unfortunately he'll never get the attention of a horse like BB, who just missed the Crown. *insert bitterness here*
Love the ending - Curlin is so covered with mud you can't even see his white stripe to recognize him. Must be carrying at least an extra 10 lbs of mud on him. Curlin the mudder - even the slop can't stop him!
I could watch Curlin run all day. I never get tired of looking at him. He warms my heart and he'll forever be the greatest horse I ever had the honor of seeing race. An absolutely beautiful horse.
Agreed, agreed, and a hundred times agreed. I think it's safe to say you'll also agree that Curlin is going to whup Big Brown to the moon in this year's Classic, if both go? XD
Oh my God yes. Big Brown may be the best of his class but that may be all he is. I feel like the Triple Crown is being handed to him. He's never been tested in his life. He never had to race against horses like Curlin and Street Sense. I can't wait till the Classic. Dutrow needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut and respect other horses and their owners.
Now there's a thought. Big Browns owners just made another comment today, if you missed it, about how Curlin may not want to race against Brown on a synthetic surface. The stupidity of these people just amazes me, because Big Brown has never run on an artificial track in his life either. Bring on the Classic!
I saw that comment. I wasn't sure if he was aiming that comment specifically as a threat or a taunt, but the more I think about it, the more it seems like something Dutrow would do. Asmussen has already commented on the daring of someone who would throw a horse onto a surface he's never seen against horses who most likely have... seriously? Bring Brown ON.
My my, I love the video! And, well, obviously LOVE Curlin to like death!!!!!! He's soooo consistent! Great job! ***cheers, favorites, rates 5 stars***
I very much like your video. It is COOL look at our Horse of the Year, very up-lifting and powerful! Lover your 'use' of/and the music, fabulous! That 'Look of Eagles', as they say, is hard to miss and he wears it well. Yes, to Pyro, Steve Asmussens is/has been 'fire'. He is in the zone. (GLAD you "left out" just what you did. This is a tribute worthy of his send-off to Dubai. Best of Luck and Safty to Curlin and all of his handlers. Strangers in a strange land. (Stick with your big grey

Gotta love Curlin because before he won at the Preakness he took a huge dump on national tv...What a guy! Great video!

Why is it that Big Brown gets all the media coverage and Curlin (who has proven himself countless times) barely gets any notice?

On a silver platter. Can you imagine if Curlin had been born one year later? The Crown would have been his even easier than Brown's getting it.
