Very cool! From your description it sounds like you see them fairly often. I see someone else has uploaded footage of salamander eggs - you can actually see the embryos moving. Thanks again for showing this - good luck on finding a clutch of eggs
Many salamanders are endangered, but these are fairly common. I have purposely created little environments to bring birds and insects and other little creatures into the yard. I've spent countless hours trying to get some video of the hummingbirds - nothing yet. (c:
