  • I agree u need protein... do shakes... and stay away from meat and still get the enough protein to your muscles to maintain so u don't lose them.

  • zuzana, if you don't mind eating fish, be a pescetarian instead. you can get protein from fish and fish is really good for you! xoxo

  • In my 10+yrs going to a gym I've never seen a woman wear so much lip gloss to work out in.

  • Unfortunatley there isn't much of a difference, protein is protein! Some companies use "filler" to thin out their powder so if you get cheap protein you might find that there is filler.

Isopure is light, tastes ok, and has the consistency of WATER. It's the easiest to drink in my opinion (the ready-made kind NOT the powder!!)

Muscle Milk tastes good too, but like most supplements is filled with gimmicks on the label. Don't fall for the gimmicks in the marketing and get what tastes good.

  • just do some protien powder....it has vitimins and all that good stuff in there

  • i love the diving push ups =)

  • Try eating eggs, HUGE amount of proteins in it!!

  • Protein shakes Zuzana!!!!

  • Before supplements, I would suggest that you try high protein foods like beans (red kidney, white navy, lentils, etc.) and tree nuts (walnuts, sweet almonds, cashews, etc.).

  • Your European? : - )

  • On a vegetarian diet, you need a source of protein to build and maintain muscle. scooby1961 is a male body builder who has a channel on youtube and he recommends some good dieting tips as a vegetarian.

  • i wish my missus would do these zuzana has the perfect body

  • Have you tried using hulled hemp seed as a protein supplement? I've been supplementing most of my meals with it. Also, have you ever tried cooling muscles in between workouts? It's supposed to allow you to do more reps.

  • If you make a shake in your blender out of LOWFAT QUARK (frozen) FRUITS and (soy)milk and/or JUICE you can easily get more natural protein that yourt body can turn to account! Without supplements.

  • 7:54 :)

  • have you tried hemp?

  • If you're looking for a natural protein source try Amaranth and Quinoa.

Do not eat soy (tofu, soy protien isolate, etc)! Incorporate Spirulina, Hemp Seeds, Chia Seeds and Flax Seeds into your diet. Stay away from Whey Protien, most are garbage; there are only a couple good ones, but I would not injest any dairy - casein is detrimental to your health. Pasture raised eggs are ok, try to eat them raw in a shake. FYI, I have been vegan and body building for a few years now. It's not easy.

  • Maybe it's because I am a guy, but I love supplements. I take M5(pre-workout), Myofusion (protein) and a multivitamin every day. Results are amazing.

I've tried all sorts of protein and whey, and Myofusion seems to be the most filling.

  • @zestrus lol, tree hugger

  • Let´s read The China study by Campbell ... it can help...

  • I honestly think its unhealthy to be a vegetarian, humans are meat eaters we need the protein and nutrients that meat gives, personal preference but just my opinion.

  • i wish i could work out with you its hard to find a dedicated work out buddy

  • I was just kidding, i take it back!!!!

  • I like Vega Health Optimizer, its a vegan protein/chlorella/herbs powder, i mix it with water or almond milk.

  • hello can i ask you something? how tall are you and what is your weight? you have no gramm of fat

  • Just have to say when the doing the pull ups you can see your abs, that's hot and they really stand out :) who ever is filming this is a really lucky person

  • id marry her

  • I recently became vegetarian also and was worried about the same thing. Because of my allergies I was never able to take the commercial supplements anyway, so I always had n alternative. It is still in powder form but with nothing added, Pea Protein by NOW. This is one of the few brands that has no cross contamination so I don't have to worry about my soy, dairy, wheat gluten and peanut allergies! I also started adding ground chia seeds to my power smoothies.

  • eh like some1 else mentioned.. use protein supplements/ 100%protein whey- optimum nutrition stuff is one of the best! I use it to add protein to my diet! I feel better after tennisin the next day when using it too. like in the morning oatmeal/add a scoop of it too it.Uh protein shakes w/soy milk' ..refried beans have protein too! make sure ya taking calcium pill ever so often too if ya stopped drinking milk.even tho your not old' lol dont wanna have weak bones ;) - keep up da vids&wish ya well-c

  • it takes longer than 3 months to undergo such a radical change in your diet. you have to find good protein to adequately replace what your were eating, just to stay at a constant level. chick peas are great all around. beans are the go to protein source for vegetarians, and yes greens have the best amino acid content but you'll need mounds of it to replace a chicken breast. keep leaning and adjusting your diet as needed. never stagnate.

  • I take 1 called isoplex or somthing like that you want a whey protine the more natrual the better , the container will say use a full scoop but since you have not had alot of protine it would be better to use 1/2 - 2/3 of a scoop for a week or two to let your body get used to it , i mix the protine with v8 fruit and I have made protine pancakes be4

  • love love love girl aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Zuzana have a whey protein shake 2-3 times a day. muscle milk light is a very good one no sugar low in calories. Your problem will be solved. All your muscles will return within a week or so due to muscle memory.

  • Definitely avoid those disgusting milk protein powders and go for a vegetarian type. I'm not sure if there is GNC in Canada but they have a ton, anyways I'm really a fan of the following:

    Nature's Plus Fruitein

    Lifetime Life's Basic

    Olympian Labs Pea protein

    Hope that helped.

  • Hi Zuzana I have Ceriblepasy and when I was Younger I Used a lof ot GNC products to keep My wight from dropping too much now that Im fourty I dont have that Problem any more lol AGE IS A WONDERFULL THING I KEEP TELLING MY SELF LOL but for some one like you who is very active and has a Set excursise regimen checking into the GNC Proteen Shakes might be the way to go now realize I did this in my twentys so more then likely the Products I used are probbibly no longer being sold but I hope I helped

  • Hey Zuzana, love your vids! My girlfriend got me into it and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Yes, us men do your workouts as well!

Can you post some exercises targeting the biceps specifically? That's my weak spot, for some reason. Mine keep getting bigger, but I'm just not getting the "peak" look I'm after. And it looks like you have some great guns! So some guidance would be much appreciated!

Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • -___________________-

  • You are an amazing woman Zuzana, don't forget that :)

  • You accent is beautiful, are you from Germany? There is this girl I met that has a similar accent and I love it!

  • don't be a vegetarian :p

Your training is far too intense for a vegetarian without supplementation i must say

  • I love how you actually video tape yourself working out in your videos unlike some who will just tell us what to do. We see you hands on, working hard, and being such an inspiration to get moving.

  • I just subscribed to this chanel and I don't even plan to work out!

  • I love organic peanut butter, almonds, fish, some cheese and certain veggies have protein too! :)

  • Ricardo Moreira is a vegan MMA fighter. I bet you could find info on his diet through google. His blog had a link to veganbodybuilding(dot)com which looks to have info also.

  • no meat = no vitamin D and no protein.

  • and the American Heart Association has reached similar conclusions. So it would appear, from all sides, to be more beneficial to skip the supplements, investigate more legumes and fresh soy beans, and perhaps consider that because you are putting less food into your body (by not eating animal products) that your body knowingly responds by reducing the amount of muscle needed to consume the food energy. We all love you and we don't want you to get cancer ;)

  • Zuzana, at the risk of causing a riot...I know you are going to think very seriously about protein supplements and I think you should take into consideration the fact that processed foods and food additives have been tied to cancer, diabetes and obesity (not that it will ever happen to you) in multiple studies. Meanwhile, the American Dietetic Association has declared that their research and examinations prove that vegetarian diets can provide more than adequate nutrition...

  • first

  • Our bodies are designed to eat meat. Humans have been eating meat for generations, since the cave men! There is nothing wrong with it! Its only when people add processed junk and too many carbs that people get sick and diseased and when that happens, meat and animal products get the blame. How come people generations before us who ate mostly meat and healthy fats and less processed carbs lived longer and were overall healthier?????? I really recommend marksdailyapple . com!

  • That knee lift in three directions in the pushup position thing is the best, most effective ab workout I've ever tried. so thanks!

  • <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

  • holy crap I just started to become a minor vegan. I still eat chicken and fish. I need protein. keep it up.

  • Just have to say when the doing the pull ups you can see your abs, that's hot and they really stand out :)

  • the immediate shift in energy is probably the placebo effect

  • zuzana suld bcome a pescaterian. she would get all the animal proteens she needs and have the low fat content she needs.

  • if i were a chick trying to get in shape this women would be my idol. she is so sexy it's not even funny. as for us guys. gotta stick to the old fashioned way of lifting iron and running

  • eat fish and lean cuts of chicken, you need high protein to maintain that amount of muscle no way around it...you cant get that amount of protein heathly from supplements or from plant protein ie [peanuts and soybean, black beans]

  • I have been vegetarian for 5 years, I also noticed a change in how my body reacted when I made the switch, but I think it is just the body re adjusting to everything. In my experience I have been keeping healthy by eating all the vegetarian food groups and also by taking a multivitamin that is formulated for vegetarians and women. Also if your into it, you can from time to time take an omega supplement of fish oil, or eat fish, oysters or mussles. :) good luck!

  • Are you VEGGY veggy...or do you allow fish and eggs?

If you allow fish, problem solved. If not...um...no idea to be honest.

  • Zuzana, Wow!!! Your Abs look Awesome. When you watch this video or yourself. You see how your muscles contract. I wish you would think about shorts. Especially exercises like using your legs like you were, to see the muscles in your legs.

    Awesome workout!!!

  • I like gold standard casein protein powder shakes (especially vanilla flavor!!) :)

  • whats wrong with protein shakes?

  • awesome

  • BOKU PROTEIN POWDER IS THE MOST NATURAL PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT!..IT HEALTHY AND VEGAN.

  • I have been Vegetarian for 5 years. I also noticed a change with how my body adjusted, positive and negative. For me it was all about my body finding the balance and re adjusting. Eating all the proper food groups is a must , and a multivitamin formulated for vegetarian and for women. Also from time to time since you work so hard.... if your into it try a bit of fish, oysters or mussles or just the oil supplement.

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like the new hair due. looks great on you!

  • I noticed too that your arms are thinner and I cant see the lines of muscles like before.

I suggest you not to use protein but continue with eating meat :)

I read somewhere that too much protein eliminates calcium of the body.

  • what about your food journal!

  • Zuzana, I hope you aren't overtraining yourself. Our muscles can atrophy if we don't get enough rest.

  • ommmmnh ommmnhhh jajajajaa =)

  • I use a plant based protein supplement. It really works for me!

  • Those lights must be hot to workout in front of!! Holy

  • does she ever response to a message when you send her one

  • eat meat

  • ...

  • optimum nutrition my friend!

  • GOOD... GAWD...

  • my experience with creatines isnt that good. it just put water in your muscle and make it look more puffy, but if you dont use it for weeks, the change can be quite visible. whey protein isnt good stuff, even though they were all natural supplyments like creatine, they can be bad for your liver because human body isnt design to ingest such concentrated and quantity of protein at the same time.

stick with beans. your body is far more important than the size of your already existing muscle

  • Charlie, Why do you drink coffee but not green tea?

  • pick up some soy protein powder and a multivitamin, your muscles will be back in no time

  • just stop drinking those coffee.....

  • I'm glad you stuck with the vegetarian diet. I was wondering how you were doing with that. Personally, I'm not sure about the muscle loss thing... I was always less muscular before I became a vegetarian. If the vegetarian diet is a problem for you, you're probably not getting enough protein and vitamin B. You usually drink almond milk, right? Switching to soy milk could help... it has way more protein and vitamin B. There are vegan body builders (although they probably take supplements).

  • Eat quinoa, its a grain that is a COMPLETE protein!!! try it.

  • damn she is beautiful what a perfect body....!!!

  • Zuzana, eat quinoa, its the only grain that is a complete protein!! you dont need supplements. ive been a vegan for a long time, and ive found this grain more beneficial than any!!

  • these workouts are pretty much using your own body weight?

  • losing muscle?? Zuzana ur ripped! :D im so jealous of your body but ur such an inspiration im gonna resume doing workouts starting tomorrow :)

  • Thank you God for 720p HD.

  • whey protein is a godsend if you want to build muscle. Since it's derived from milk and contains calories, many body builders actually put it more in the "food" category. It helped me a lot when I played sports in school, and it helps your recovery time as well.

  • Drink whey protein shakes Zuzana

  • @DreadRising

whey protein is good for your muscle developement but bad for your kidney and liver.

so protein shakes shouldnt be suggested.

beans are great natural protein and can subsitute for meat

  • @DreadRising nah she doesnt need that, shes not trying to body build tho lol

  • get your amino acids from freshly juiced green juice they are the highest quality protein out there. cooked animal meat is toxic and is a poor quality of amino acids... be careful with protein supplements they are toxic.! it could also be that your loosing muscle because ur aging.

  • @zestrus11 that may all be true BUT SHE IS SMOKING HOTT for her age

  • @zestrus11 you are not going to be getting whole protein from juice. You need more than a few grams of partial proteins (Amino acids) to maintain decent muscle mass.

  • I would like to know whats wrong with just eating fish, for your protein? But there are a lot of protein suppliment out there. Must i know about are for men.

  • @nativemrv19722 fish are a half healthy allternative due to mercury in the fish.. watch out for that fish are starting to have higher dose's egg steak and even vitamin pills are great ays to gain protien supplements :)

  • @nativemrv19722 Fish is a food that has a higher contamination of Mercury compared to other foods. So whenever you eat fish, there's a chance you are consuming some mercury, but below the toxic level. It's only recommended to eat two meals of fish a week for the omega fats and so our mercury levels consumed do not accumulate to a toxic level. If you know your fish is free of mercury, then you are lucky and can eat that everyday.

  • good work! (:

  • OOOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!!!

  • i have heard that supplements are synthetic and thus....not absorbed by the body as well as when a nutrient is encountered in its naturally-occurring state (also best to be whole and raw) so that is why i have never taken supplements because of the bioavailability concern. i dont want to think i am doing something great for myself and they are all being excreted, which causes a lot of work for kidneys. i will be very very interested what you find because i am 99% vegetarian

  • ..n

  • your hot and fit :D

  • yeah but you also you need suplements like multivitamins and amino acids, because we dont get enough from the food we eat, because if you are missing any of those on your diet your whole metabolism gets mess up,and ZUZANA the gold standard %100 whey protein is very good

  • IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • I LOVE YOU :(

  • Zuzanna stay with the natural stuff...don't start eating 'factory man made' supplements...they put so much crap in it. You could try eating lots of tofu, lentil, chick peas , beans, cheese, drink milk, avocado...there is so many food with natural protein. Instead of eating small portions maybe try and experement with 'medium' portions. Good luck figuring out what to do. You're great you know that :)

  • Don't go with supplements, garbage processed stuff.

Personally I'm a balanced diet person, but if you're not getting enough protein as a vegetarian then put some or more nuts into your diet, almonds are great for protein and dietary fiber.

When it comes right down to it though, most who eat only plants do it using the excuse of not wanting to hurt animals, but don't understand that plants feel and sense pain without a way to express it as an animal can.

    Balance ftw.

    Youtube char limit ftl.

  • jaja me gusto el final jajaja

    ases muy buenos videos =)

  • Vegetables are good.

    Meat is good.

    We are omnivores.

Unless your reason to stop eating meat is because of a rare disease, it is misaimed.

    Eat lean meat.

  • love the vids, I have been doin some of the work outs. my cat hates your beeper though :( she cries when it goes off. It must hurt her ears. pks make cat friendly vids in the future. I love u

  • Everytime I workout i AM THINKING ABOUT YOU. You keep me going Zuzana.

  • (message 2 )

Part of their culture. If you are Vegan this will be harder~ No animal products, period. If you are not, then dont forget about fish as well~ SO GOOD FOR YOU!!! Studies have proven time after time that salmon is the number one "meat" to eat. And it helps prevent so many sicknesses, is brain food, helps with fat loss process, as well helps balance out womens hormones :)

  • You are very beautiful.

  • Hello :)

Many foods that are not meal, fish or chicken have protein in them. Soy beans is a great for protein~ Are you vegan? If not, dont forget about your eggs :) Also many different beans are full of proteins~ And dont forget to complete your proteins (ie. pineapple comletes the proteins in chicken) Also, take a look at the old japanease food culture. I work in Japanease food and they spent hundred of years eating 90% from the earths greens and growth. Meat and fish wasnt a big

  • You could try other natural sources of protein, legumes and such, but you'd really have to cram em in.

  • you should eat meat. supplements are not as good as eating meat. You don't have to eat a lot of it, but some is good for you. If you are set on being a vegetarian, try eating a lot more food. maybe 2 to 3 times the calories.

  • Amazing!

I wonder if she would have any fitness minded friends who would consider moving to the mid-west.

  • also try high protein tofu, qinoua, kidney beans, feta cheese. i put isolate vanilla protein in my spinach smoothies. helps plenty.

  • meat is a good thing. just dont eat a lot of it.

  • Pump up the vegan protein - Lifetime Life's Basics® Plant Protein is the best!!! Go Vegan! 100%. You'll love it even more. Use nutritional yeast for B12. PS: Don't over analyze, you look amazing.

  • just increase your protein intake. try protein powders.

  • eat meat dude and gets some protein

  • Please, look at going back to a diet with protein in it. I have notice that you have lost some of the fullness in your muscles. There are good supplements out there to help vegetarians meet their protein needs. Great Coffee Talk!

  • check out mytrainerbob on youtube. you can ask him about protein :)

  • You should be able to match your protein needs with vegetables, maybe some extra milk or a whey protein supplement if you're diet allows milk products.

You might have to count calories for awhile to get your balance back. It takes time to get it right, just like for someone starting to exercise. Someone starting to be vegetarian can't expect it to be easy. Vegetarian animals aren't weak so a vegetarian person shouldn't be either. Good luck :D

  • why use a timer? instead of just counting reps? is there an advantage to using a timer compared to just counting reps? most workout videos focus on maximizing reps rather than having a time limit.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!! VEGETARIANISM FTW iv been a vegetarian for about a year and i feel great.gonna be a vegi till da day i die!!

  • Sun Warrior Protein is my favorite protein supplement (Vanilla Flavor). It's 100% raw and vegan :) I should Suzanna would love it!

  • I was a vegetarian for a long time too. I also loved the light feeling, but I've since heard that the light feeling is a lack of certain nutrients and is a sign you're slipping into starvation mode. Also, my thyroid started to fail because I was eating things like soy and broccoli which block iodine. Please avoid soy protein and incorporate sea vegetables since you use sea salt. If you track your nutrients it's very difficult to get everything you need if you never eat fish or red meat.

  • Zuzana = Win

  • iso flex whey opti womens muti vitamin casein omega go back to meat we are animals who should stay with meat in are diets stick to fish if it makes you feel better about not hurtin farm animals good luck . build the mass to get the ass do your curls to get the girls work your bi's to opean the thi's

  • one of your best videos, imo

    great workout.

  • Say Goodbye to That Body....

  • SUSANA, YOU ARE PERFECT AS YOU ARE.

YOU DON´T NEE TO HAVE MUSCLES!

BUT IF YOU WANT TO HAVE MUSCLES TAKE " AMPLIFIED WHEYBOLIC EXTREME 60" IS GOOD .

  • BOKU!! its vegan and organic! :)

  • guys i meddes up...i ate 3 slices of pizza today! welp!

  • btw eat meat. ffs we've been eating meat since we existed...

  • i wanna see your food journal!!

  • God! I seriously have to stop watching Zuzana's videos.

Because I'm loosing too much weigh!

  • @bcta302 Yeah, watching her is like a workout in itself. She dosent so much in such a short period of time. You can tell that the workouts will burn fat off you.

  • You're sucha beautiful girl

  • supplements are not natural, eating meat is. Supplements are also hard on your liver. I say stick with natural meats not man made supplements.

  • @KatiePav10 I agree with Katie... meat protein whether red meat, white meat, fish or dairy protein are the best they are natural and Zuzana that is what you have always stressed.

  • @KatiePav10 I complelety agree!!!!

  • @KatiePav10 technically they are natural or else they would be considered drugs. They are synthesized out of natural materials and then concentrated.

  • Zuzana, if you are losing lean muscle mass being vegetarian is because you are not eating enough veggies. You need to eat alot, alot, alot of greens. You can supplement with rice protein, but, really do not need it. If you eat 2,000 calories of plant base food you will meat your protein intake. But, remember, you need to eat alot more to eat 2,000 calories of plant base food.

  • @Pedrovet70 Our bodies NEED meat, you will not be able to keep your lean muscle just with veggies unless you EAT ALOT, EVERY day, the only reason our brains developed back with our monkey ancestors is because they started eating MEAT, WE NEED IT.

  • BSN!!!!! best protien supplement ever. Lean desert protien, or syntha-6. lean desert has fewer calories and is low in carbs but still high in protien. I love it!!! and it taste GREAT too

  • please charlie i need you to be my angel

  • First comment? Probably wont be accepted. =(

  • Thank you for the inspiration Zuzana, your awesome!! love the workouts! :)

  • When you gave up meat you left a lot of protein out of your diet. Protein is what helps build and maintain your muscles.

  • no comments? o_o

  • nice :D

  • protein shakes i guess lol

  • first?

  • Hot body

  • have a look at co-enzyme Q10 that will give you energy in the form of ATP

  • What country are you from?

  • i love you <3

  • I've been eating a vegetarian diet for over 25 years and have never had a problem building muscle. I'm a personal trainer and nutritional consultant for that long as well. I'll be happy to give you some advice of foods to eat, food combining, and supplementation.

You can write me offline personally at wohlistic@cox.net

  • you are so hot

  • muscles fading out is a normal thing to a vegetarian, you need to get a good protein shake. personally i use BSN's Syntha-6 but it's not natural so i doubt you'll go for it, though it works really well. i believe optimum nutrition has a 100% natural protein powder, maybe you should check on it. best luck Zu.

  • so do you get more attractive with each video or is it just me? hope your vegetarian diet works out for you. friend of mine tried it and its a hard change to make.

  • Hi Zuzana,

I did the same diet change a few years ago. I found that when I removed meat, I too lost muscle mass. I think meat has a amino acids and creatine (sp?). I tried a wide variety of supplements like creatine, L-carnitine, L-arginine, chromium picolinate; as well as the usual high doses of all the vitamins.

I did this for a few years. But, in the end, I found it impossible to match lean meat. I don't know exactly the chemical processes why but, I too lost strength and a bit of energy.

  • You still look great but I've noticed your muscle tone changing in your arms and ab area. May be try and add some lean protein such as free range chicken, turkey and eggs back into your diet instead of supplements or have alternating weeks where you're vegetarian and eat lean protein.

  • hot

  • You are amazing ♥♥

  • Thumbs up if U watch this just to see Zuzana
