  • i think QUEENS was clearly the theme to a lot of winning hands at this final table!!!

  • awesome!

  • What a great Laydown by Allen!!!

  • Call with 4-3? WTF

  • Think what you like people but that was a bad fold by Alan. It was a raise of 2.9M more and the pot had over 7M in it. Even with one card to come I would call without much delay, Your playing for the title here and you need to get your money in against Jamie soon anyway why not take a chance to win a huge pot???? BAD FOLD.

  • It wasn't that bad of a play, if he knew AC had AQ he obviously wouldn't have pushed.

  • what do they do if they gotta go to the toilet?

  • they go between hands.

  • @maksenDK I think they are issued WSOP adult diapers.

  • wasicka and cunningham final table ftw

  • Binger, who?

All in on the final table with a straight draw?

What a surprise, the donk wins the hand

  • golds plays every hand he got ...

  • cunningham got so unlucky on the final table

  • see look people alan folded his draw its not hard to do you dont have to push all in you can actually fold your draw

  • and he would have won, probably doubled up, had he called. He let the big stack push him around a little. He's a great player, the best, but he got frazzled in this game a little bit.

  • Push him around?

Its easy to push anybody around when you turn trips and all they have is a draw.

How can you say Allen would double up? Calling would leave him with about 10mil in chips(about the size of the pot). Gold may pay off a 3 or 4mil bet, but most likely would fold to an allin.

  • @Yunghustlagl6 yes he folded his drew, but he would won on the river because he catched the straight and then jamie gold would call any of cunninghams bet!!!

  • its funny how this table shows non of jamie golds talent it just shows him picking up cards.its also funny im the only person who has talked about poker in over ten comments

  • jamie gold is a lucky no talent bast a rd. arrogance will be his demise...

  • jonjescabar--what does your comment have to do with poker?!

  • majority of american women are plastic human barbie dolls....completely over-rated..

  • fair enough i will give you that lol good point

  • you can see why americans are fat on the KFC SNACKER CAM! what a bunch of idiots

  • We're not all fat idiots u prick! Where the hell are u from anyways?!

  • the uk and i think the majority of your county is fat idiots enjoy your kfc snacker cams and mountain dew

  • well if the u.k. and YOU think that we're all fat idiots then it has to be right! At least we put braces on our teeth as children so that we have a decent smile, I swear to God I went to the U.K. once and everytime someone opened their mouth I thought to myself, "Damn, I thought that these people were supposed to be smart, why the fuck don't they know anything about oral hygeine?!" ok ok so we're all fat and you all have fucked up grills. Go fuck yourself you ignorant fairy!

  • i'm from the UK and most of us are fat idiots too, plus KFC is just a sponsorship, so what? the only idiot I can see involved in this conversation is you, stop generalising entire countries.

  • ahhhh here we go another person trying to change everyones views i have mine you have yours i think if u look at the thumbs up on my comments that most people follow the same opinion im quite open minded but it is a known fact americans have the higest obesity rate so for pointing out a proven fact im the idiot? i think not

    thanks

    cunt

  • just because they have the highest obesity rate they're all fat idiots? yes, i think your an idiot. i don't really care about changing you mind i just think you're a cock, your generalising a whole nation based on one statistic, you could do that about any country in the world (including the UK) and it would all be invalid.

  • cunningham couldn't stop that

  • battle of the poker diets? norman chad u are so useless.

  • johnny chan is like an esl version of hellmuth.

  • i fuckin hate binger the way he celebrates after getting lucky against cunningham.

  • can´t blame him on celebrating....

Still it was plain stupid to move on that board

  • I disagree completely. He was the preflop raiser and Allen checked to him. He didn't have that many chips left anyway. With Ace high it was not an unreasonable move at all, as the vast majority of hands miss the flop completely.

  • "as the vast majority of hands miss the flop completely"; what makes ya think that? What should Cunningham have that wouldn´t make him hit? He´s made the call, so the range of cards might be limited to ace x, with x ace to 10, he could have a pair aa to 88 (possibly); since Cunningham is a very resonable player, binger should´ve known he´s beaten on that board. Besides the "move-character" wasn´t too impressive either for he had few chips left.

  • @ayanamicurekafka totally agree

  • how was it stupid on that board?

he probobly figured taht if cunningham had AJ or 10 10 he would laydown..

he probobly also assumed he could hit an ace or 9 or king..double belly buster and for not having that many chips left he has to take a chance.

    plz learn poker.

  • btw that was 11 outs he thought he had..11 outs twice = 22 possible chances to hit.

and when u have 22 chances to hit.. u go for it.

  • i see you are one of the morons who think they "know about poker". oh well, i don´t appreciate that "please learn poker", dull attitude, bud.

there is no way he could´ve thought the ace would make him win (-3 outs). He had to know he needed to hit his straight, which is about 30%. he knew he would be called if he moved, so he risked his game on a 30%chance, maybe less. It´s a sensable move, but considering the odds not the best.

  • lol seriously i dont no why ppl lose and act like its all over, cmon u started this tournament broke, u end with a few mills in ur pocket, i would celebrate even if i was the first eliminated at the table lol.

  • bad bet by allen. always check call an aggressive player like jamie. keeps the pots low and the price right to call ur draw

  • back to back wsop me champion is def never gonna happen again

  • The last hand, I would have called the 4 million.

  • It's a terrible call if he had made it. It's a paired board, and for all you know Gold could already have a straight. Or a Full house of course. Or, Gold could have Q8 or 78, in which case you make your straight and he has a full house. Cunningham still has plenty of chips folding there, but if Cunningham calls the 4 million, and doesn't make the straight (which he knows he'll only make 1/6 times and doesn't even know if it'll be a winner) his stack would be crippled losing that 4 million.

  • Thats why you are not ALLEN CUNNINGHAM!

  • gold is freaken lucky, that's why he couldn't get past the 1st day in the 2007 world series

  • too bad I do not got 10.000$

  • It is really funny of some guys calling him a bad player. He WON the WSOP! You don't win that event on luck alone. He has a very good calculating skill. Most of the time he knows exactly what his chances are. And he mixes his game up so much that other players have no idea what he has at any time. Due to his talking ppl make very bad calls. You should give him credit for that. Poker is all about playing your opponent not his cards and jamie confuses those opponents very well.

  • i think so, too

  • I don't

  • gold really is bad.. i he called like a donk with that 42. allen outplayed the shiit out of him and if he didnt run so well hed be broke playing 1/2 NL

  • Wow bro, no need to go on tilt over a video.

  • What exactly does it mean to be on tilt?

  • When poker players let their emotions influence their poker judgement in a negative way, it's called going "on tilt."

  • how can ppl badmouth gold, hes a better player than he seems... look at how he plays the last hand is this video...PERFECT

  • he busted from the tournament, so instead go home he picked the cleader of day 3 and said hey ill mentor you so gold got a mentor + luck + an orange to win.

  • gold used to be chans agent which is why chan mentored him. ok?

  • o.k. gold is maybe a god player but there are more better players than him like devilfish, phil hellmuth and many more

  • devilfish is a piece of crap

  • "All in on a draw?? Why?" Hahaha. Actually you know you're becoming a good player when you can understand why Binger did that.

  • Indeed. It would be nice if they hired people to comment on the games that actually know how to play.

  • all in on a draw lol

  • gold got luckier than anyone ever lol

  • Gold is a great player, even with this luck he played his hands great to make sure the chips were his, fact.

  • "This is Allen Cunningham... capis?" LOL!! this commentator must have something going on with Cunningham. He repeatedly said that the whole tournament! Great faith in Cunningham. LOL!

  • gold calls on the river with a pair of fours??? sure, he's got a lot of chips, but...

  • it was very deliberate. he was just trying to send a message to the table if you see how he's proud to show nothing. Its a powerful message from a guy holding half the chips. worth the 1.4 million.

  • Soccerjoe: 1)Ive lastedlong in WSOP events, and no, Gold wouldnt beat me heads up. Ive played him many a times in AC 2.)tourney and cash games are two very different games 3.) Yep, you do need some luck....but when you hit that luck playing crap hands that you shouldve folded after the flop, its a different type of luck 4. and 5.) he had a good run, thats for sure. Big stack can be the table bully... table talk is bad poker etiquette, the top pros have no respect for him because of it.

  • i agree with soccerjoe15, but cunningham should have won, he was unlucky, its funny to see gold when he plays cash games with doyle brunsen and daniel negreanu, he got nailed big time, but he did well in the tourn. a bit lucky tho...

  • ok now ive said this b4 most of you who are hating on gold. 1)you wouldnt last long in a wsop event, i guarentee gold could beat you headsup.2)quit comparing tournament play to cash game play opposite ends of the poker spectrum,3) to win any major poker event nowadays you need a shit load of luck.4)players all tourny were just throwing their chips at gold.5)he talked his opponents into doin exactly what he wanted, just about every hand.6)he won so quit complaining.

  • nnotice that paul wasika jerks his head up like his necks on fire every time he sees an ace

  • STFU funkkiller noob, u dont know shit about No Limit Holdem, i seen u donks every single time i go Commerce.

they always say poker is all about luck, but guess what ? they ususally went broke, u fucking retard. i bet you're one of the donkeys in the casinos ( if u have money to gamble), LOLZ

  • Gold was only lucky! If he was a good player (like Paul W., who is heads up champion and won something else) he'd won something after the Main Event but he only throws his money to the real pros at HSP

  • it doesnt fucking matter u ass poker requires luck and jamie won so quit complaining....

  • @fatlazyhobo Ur wrong about gold, yes he has an agressive style, but hes also a calling machine and without luck, has a self-destructive style. The key to becoming a successful agressive poker player is knowing when to attack. Gold attacks every pot, with basically any cards, and although he had a HUGE amount of luck with him in this tourney, generally ur gonna burn out and lose too many chips in calling to actually last long enough to win.

  • From what I saw on HSP that's exactly what happened. He tried to play loose and aggressive and got burned repeatedly by Doyle and the other pros.

  • @ ThomasRedon... maybe he would have won, but it would still have been a bad call and in the end a bad beat to his favor - but he actually made the right decision in that situation cause he was the 1 to 4 underdog.

  • I think if cunningham makes that call for 4million there, that he'd be the 2006 wsop champion and not gold..but he didnt so ill shhush lol

  • Gold is a good player.

He is aggressive, willing to see flops(which gets him cards and `skilledly` lucky), and his ass-hole demeanor has encouraged people to call him.

Gold`s game is all calculated to acquire chips.

Remember also, that these are HIGHLIGHTS, just a small portion of GOld`s play. He had to have folded many hands and mix up his plays, to acquire chips and win the wsop

  • the general consensus by FAR is that gold is an idiot. Iv watched from the last 400+ players and hes been an idiot all the way. I'd tell him to STFU about reading his own hands.

  • cuz gold is a prick and a tool

  • cunningham was very cowardly at the last hand, I would re-raise Gold

  • u guys have no idea..GOLD is not a bad player, but he's too superior for you to understand wathever he does..he had a pair and the cost of calling that bet was less than the cost of making that player almost out of the tournament, remember he's chip leader by far..

  • completely agree. Jamie GOld is a good player, contrary to whatever the hell these beginners are saying.

    Gold`s aggressiveness was key to gaining chips;

Gold`s willingness to see many flops has increased

his chance to hit the board, which makes him

    `skilledly` lucky.

Gold has a bad behavior/demeanor, and thats probably why everybody hates him, but being hated has encouraged people to call him, gaining him chips.

  • omg gold is so bad!goes all in with no chance

  • Damn I hate that rabbit cam....

  • the lucky is just for gold

  • GOLD IS A LUCKY BAD POKER PLAYER!

  • WTF???? Why is he calling him with 4-3 off???
