if you guys dont belive on the penis fish...why dont you came here and swim on a slow part of the river wearing just a speedo and pi on the wateer....i can ansure you that you will come bacjk to the usa without your penis!!
@putrinha22 That's a really ignorant statement to make. Look at the Yangtze Freshwater/River Dolphin which has been declared extinct in the wild since 2006. Over fishing, pollution and over population in the rives can surely lead to a loss of these fresh water wonders. It already has in other parts of the world.
@IndiePoppedhearts i understant your point of view..but they disturbes the fishers in brazil...and there is no other fish that can eat them so they just continue growing...in someplaces in brazil they lock them in smal lagoons and there they have food and the people that go there can see them!!
@putrinha22 Yeah, that still isn't good at all.... You do know they serve a purpose in the eco system... Alligators don't have anything that can eat them either but we need them.
South American fisherman used to bang the pink dolphins of Brazil sick bastards that they were. And they said they used to resond like human women & they felt like they were banging regular women being that they r warm blooded hence they were warm & tight inside. Wild,True & Sick.
@marilynnblock It's not the locals that eat the boto. Most indigenous people respect them a great deal, they are considered enchanted creatures. Some even say you'll go blind if you look at a lamp that burns with boto oil! The problem is commercial fishing. Botos are purposely killed by fishermen for eating their fish supply and accidentally when they get caught in nets. I definitely agree with the spirit of your message though.. these wonderful creatures NEED to be protected.
@MrTheBeast If you knew much about the current state of marine life, dolphins are far too high on the food chain to be considered a healthy food source for humans or really any other creature for that matter.
Oh... I think you need a map... the Amazon river born in Peru, for this reason Peru has this great river... so on... Peruvian have pink dolphins indeed... So you can find'em in Peru and Brazil... tell me and I can give u some videos where they are... bye bye! till next time... ;) adn YOU CANNOT FIND IN THE SEA...
I Wasn't Beening Rude Tho Now Your Getting Rude Blud Dont Try It Do U Want Beef U Reatard 'Bye Bye Till Next Time' WTF You Must be a Nerd Go Do Your Home- work Or Somthing Skool Boi!
they are endangered too. the baiji river dolphin in china is now extinct and this one will be too if we dont protect them. deforestation is causing soil erosion and dirt is filling up areas of the amazon, beaching and killing some of these dolphins. they need our help
i wouldn't swim in the amazon if i were you. ever heard of the penis fish (made famous by Grey's Anatomy)? It's young swims up your urethra (or female equivalent) and grows in your body. Not a nice creature. The amazon is also crawling with parasites and other nasties. Non, leave the dolpins to swim alone I think.
"A well-circulated myth is that the candiru is capable of swimming up the stream of urine in mid-air to a victim standing on shore or a boat. This is physically impossible as the maximum swimming velocity of the fish is opposed by the downward velocity of the urine stream, and the further impossible act of the 5--14 mm wide fish maintaining position and thrust within a 2--7 mm wide column of fluid. They are also probably not attracted to urine as commonly thought" - Wikipedia
if this is what the experts say, it must be true. i just learned about it while watching TV. it frightened me. either way, the parasite lives in the amazon and is known to grow in the bladder region of its hosts. i wouldn't risk a swim with dolphins for such an infestation.
well whatever the experts say, the parasite fish still lives in the bladder area of its victim. i would not be risking a swim if there was any chance this penis animal can attack me.
hahah you are funny. But you have to realize there are many things like this penis animal living in the world. Right now you are filled with parasites!!! To be rid of all of them you have to stop eating, touching stuff etc. It's natural. But for stuff like the penis fish all you have to do is be careful. I am gonna swim with pink dolphins in the amazon (probably) and I am ok, but given that I don't have a penis that is probably why I am not that scared. LOL
@andrebrait the penis fish(candiru) ITS TRUE they dont go to the native penis because they cleam fishes and clothes and move too much on the water..and always their houses are on the faster part of the river..the candiru just live in very calm parts of the river!
@jhnny0 hahhha this is very serious..in some places when you pi on the water, you can see small fishes in the water...when i go fishing, and swim in the river i always use a speedo above the underwear
so..cute...i wish i had a really small one i could put in a fish tank and keep for a pet. too bad though, whales sometimes can get confused and ram into rocks and sand, they can die too. its sometimes cause by sonar tests. it happened to these melon whales. so sad.
They're so cute, and they won't go extinct if you touch them, they're not like bats or small animals that get sick from the backteria on your hands. I mean, think of all the stuff in the water. :/
I pray that these beautiful rare dolphins never go extinct. Thank you for sharing your rare video of these magnificent creatures. PS- just wondering are these wild dolphins?
Hi Iberry, thanks, yes they are totally wild ... it´s an experience of a lifetime and I hope the next generation will get to know these beautiful wild dolphins as well
They are called BOTO in Brazil, they usually turned pink when they are surprised or excited, the live in fresh water od Amazon river, Many of their cousins from different countries are extinct, Amazon they still live in the thounsands but on the way to be extinct, they are not agressive at all even the wild ones.
Cute :)

More nasty than human beings amazon csn't be ;)

i heard u cant pe in a river or a parisite could go throungh ur Male part
pepsipi 4 years ago
That wouldn't make sense. It would have to be an incredibly fast parasite to swim through your pee to your body. BTW, what the hell is that language?
And, yes, you can swim in the amazon river. If the penis fish was true, every native would have it, since every native swam in the river once.

Penis fish?
Well.. the chances for that to happen is very slim..
I was born by the rain forest and used to swim every weekend in rivers for 10 years.
I heard of that fish when i was little and the adults always told us to wear one piece suit, for girls, and speedos for boys.
But if you throw rocks and sticks before you go swimming, the animals will get scare and go away, like candirus (penis fish), anaconda and piranhas...
hehehe
