If Eugene O'Flaherty wants to put the predators away with out a federally created law, he can.
The guy has no fear of the press. That guy asking loaded questions does great journalism, which we don't need in this country. The base word is journal.
What we need is reporters. The base word is report. Dig down, show a little testicular fortitude and let the facts tell the story.
O'Flaherty is a bottom-feeding defense attorney who went to a 3rd rate law school and eventually licked enough political bum-bum to become head of the judiciary.....he gets alot of cake from the lawyer lobby...you figure out the rest.
Bill O'Reilly and John Walsh have been the only media members that I know of who have championed this cause. Neither political party has the courage to discuss it and President Bush and Obama have not even brought it up. We need this law in all 50 states to protect children. Enough nonsense. You abuse a child, you're going to prison for 20 years. Bare minimum.
Moses lets them out and they all come live in Dennis MA here on the Cape.Forget Jessica's Law, castrate them I say. If it's a woman, cut her hands off.
O'Flaherty is full of shit. I cannot believe he is ignoring Jessica's Law, we have to protect our children and he's not doing that!! And he wants to be arrogant towards Jesse for trying to get the truth out. That is corruption. You tell 'em Bill O'Reilly give all them hell for not protecting our kids!!!
I wonder if any of these people have actually read Jessica's Law. We all hate child predators, but many people who are not a danger to children are labeled sex offenders and their life is changed completely. As a father I would personally want to destroy anyone that hurt my children, but to take away a judge's ability to give a lighter sentence to a teenager having consentual sex with another teenager is crazy. Jessica's Law makes Romeo a sex offender who would have to register his address.
I have read Jessica's Law. I'm doing my senior project on it. And It specifically states that if anyone 18 years and older molests someone THIRTEEN years and younger is considered under the Jessica's Law regulation...NOT statitory rape. The law isn't dealing with 17 and 18 year olds having sex...it's talking about a 20 year old having sex with a twelve year old because they are under the age of 13 (which is considered a CHILD) If they were 17 it would still be bad, but not molestation.
Eugene O'Flaherty has the nerve to block the vote of Jessica's law then tells the reporter that's a ridiculos question when he asks O'Flarherty if he hs anything to say to rape victims? I'd like to know from the people of Massachusetts if this guy has always been a dickhead.
I live in MA and the situation with jessica's law is really quite unbelievable. The Liberals in this state are so damn wishy washy it makes me sick. Even the republicans are laughable. Nothing gets done.
It's ridiculous because the implication is that he supports raping children when in reality he knows plea bargains actually get convictions in cases where they would otherwise be none.
I'm a Democrat and trust me I would vote in Jessica's Law. 25 years, no parole, no no nonsense is good. Florida where I have has life and THAT would be better.
I have two words for you: States Rights.

Judge Richard Moses should step down. His judgement is clearly abysmal.

I've lost so much faith in democrats. I'm no republican, but I'm no longer a democrat. I've lost faith in my government.
