even though you can't complete the bridge because Playmates dropped the ball, The playset is worth $10 for the pieces, not the matte. My bridge is abridged with much less pieces, and only have bridge is showing on my shelf.

I pity anone here in the UK who bought the Bridge set on the premise of what was promised on the box. Because all you got or had the chance to get was what was in the box. Which is not very much. No pieces with the figures and no chance of getting the promised booster packs because the line got cancelled so fast.

Incomplete sets, incomplete crew. Not cool Playmates. Not cool at all.

Now, I'm no big action figure buff, but I AM a Trekker, and these are, for the most part, great...well, the ones I could FIND. Kirk is a good likeness there...Spock sold out so fast I couldn't get one, but Original Spock looks DEAD ON, as does my favorite character new and old, Chekov, and Sulu, is a great likeness. Uhura I couldn't find. Bones looks worst, with weird eyes and lips, and I had to put Chekov on an extra Sulu body so he could have his uniform. But the bridge is incomplete... :(

i wonder if they well do a line from the other star trek tv show or movie line, like figures for TNG, DS9, Voyager an so on with the 3 3/4 size deal action figures?

I see i'm not the only one who has thought the same thing on the bridge, putting it together an a what if -well there be more figures-. Other then that the toy's are cool, an for the wall set up around the bridge cereal boxes might do the trick.

well wave two is coming to uk in august and we finally get the pieces for bridge and transporter we get one piece with each figure from new wave plus there will be two bosster packs containg rest of pieces then later in the year playmates plan new figures and a vehicle

i have 6 in kirk nero and spock and 3in kirk spock pike and bones in the belts are comunicaters cuz the 6in ones can come out but the 3in ones dont

Yes, I purchased a 12" command Spock figure from Toys-R-Us. What is special about the Spock figure is that it came in a McCoy box still sealed up with factory tape. I took 2 low quality videos of me purchasing it at the register. Should I keep it and see what it might be worth or just stick it on eBay?I had a $200.00 offer just walking out the store from some people buying some Star Trek Phasers. Going to put videos and pictures up soon! Some suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

The bridge set was ill concieved and quite honestly, the action figures are not that great. The toy phaser, communicator and tricorder are like dollar store toys. I really expected the toy props to come through but the designs are underwhelming. The only good star trek figures i've seen are the art asylum/diamond select toys ones as well as there TOS phaser, communicator, and tricorder. Not a bad review but I think DIRT was too easy on Playmates.

Playmates meant to release the Bridge with black shirt Kirk but it wasn't ready for release. But it'll be there for a running change. Also, Scotty in the Transporter set will be swapped out with Ice Planet Scotty.

Also... er, no idea where they're coming from? Wave 2... LOL.

the next wave is " i hope your ready for this" reported to come out as soon as june or as late as september. with plans for more playsets as well i think they are coming out with 2 maybe three waves a year.

Nope. He doesn't actually use one in the movie but I wouldn't be surprised if they make a "Fencing Sulu" figure in the future.

DiRT, even though the Kirks are the same, are the other figures from the teleport playsets the same?

Yeah, the Scotty in the set is the same Scotty on the card, but the carded Scotty comes with a bridge piece and not a transporter room piece, so it makes a little more sense.

Spare a thought for th international collectors of the Galaxy line - our releases of the figures DON'T COME WITH PLAYSET PIECES. They still sell the playsets but they're still the same totally incomplete playsets everyone else gets. and we have no hope of completing them unless we buy the figures from the US. Not cool, Playmates, not cool at all.

I'm so tired of seeing 3 and 3/4 inch figures in the toy isles. I collected Marvel Legends and other 6 inch figures for many years I'm no going into stores and seeing most of my favorite lines have been canceled thanks to toy companies switch to the 3 and 3/4 inch style. That is fine for Star Wars and G.I. Joe but for my main lines I really don't care for them.

Yeah thats jim dandy for you but what about us 6 inch and 12 ich collectors? Those lines did well for companies and fans. Why should I rebuy characters I have from the Marvel Legends, DCU and other lines?

Quite simply, no one's forcing you to buy anything. I have 1 Marvel Legend and 3 DC Universe classics. I don't go nuts for those. If you don't like 3.75" figures, save your money for when the next big 6" line comes out.
