  • my dancing slippers are alive!

  • This is great!!!!! Love it!

  • Holy sweet b'Jesus. This tune is addictive as f**k.Pure analogue nectar.

  • whats the effect you used on 'synthpop's alive' chorus part... sounds like vocoder ?

  • absolutely briliant :)

  • YES...SYNTHPOP IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )

  • I wonder how the original and this would sound when mashed up...

  • super :)

  • tell me who sings it, as is the group?

  • tell me who sings it, as is the group&

  • Incredibly great!! Congratulation ;)

  • Absolutely f**king GREAT! Greetings from Finland!

  • @maisonvague i agree.

  • Loving your work sir! I was born a Synth pop baby, raised on VNV Nation, Covenant, fungervogt, etc. and promise to keep this stuff around as long as I live!

  • Absolutely fabulous. I love your Oberheim OBX-a :D

    Synthpop is mostly definitely ALIVE!

  • SWEET!!!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!

  • Loved the original, love this one! Much richer and great chorus vocal treatment! Brilliant. Looking forward to the album. SYNTHPOP'S ALIVE!!

  • @TheInnocentSynth Thanks! Yeah, I worked hard on the chorus. When it comes to production I tend to do things the "old-fashioned way." If I want the vocals to sound like ten people singing in chorus, I'll sing it ten times. If it's out of tune (and too often it is ;-) I'll sing it again until it's right. I absolutely cannot stand the sound of pitch-correction plugins. Personally, I much prefer to hear a singer's natural intonation, even if it's off-pitch (within reason, of course).

  • @maisonvague esta version me gusó mas que la primera! definitivo me subscribo!

  • Sings along while doing her little wiggle dance. Ah both versions are just devine cannot wait till your album comes out.

Happiie Christmas and Merry knew year

  • Favorited! Been waiting for the full Maison Vague album on iTunes for a long time. Will be buying it the moment I see it. :) Love your work, both with synth pop, and with One Act.

  • w00t that was awesome!

  • nice remix, abit overcrowded in the end, but I think I like the original version more. But I am not so sure, still a very good song.

  • Thank you! What about lossless quality?

  • I hear this song is the new #1 all over heaven.

  • @tsuihark Are you saying synthpop is... dead? Or just everyone who listens to it? Haha Loved your "tiny music studio" video BTW. Please make another one - longer, with more cat controlled editing!

  • @maisonvague Nono, I mean that this song is a good follow-up to Sparks' Number One Song In Heaven! I'll make some more videos too :)

  • Wow tnx for a fast reply and also nice to see u putting up videos again :D

  • Awesome. Synthpop will never die!!!

  • Also :

    Sony Ericsson k800i ? K700i maybe

    :D

  • @sinisasokolovic Precisely! K800i LOL

  • Well, this version sounds modernized ( you can hear it has more sound effects mixed in ),original had a darker and simpler sound (in my opinion)

I love the vocoder / reverb / whatever is uses on the part with "Synthpop is alive"

    :)

  • @sinisasokolovic I figured not everyone would like the new version, so I'll be leaving the original video up, of course ;-) The vocal effect on the chorus is very simple: just multi-tracked vocals singing in harmony. Well, a sort of harmony. No vocoders or harmonizers, but there is some delay and reverb mixed in there.

  • that was simply awesome, great vocals!

  • I like this version better

  • @SegaMegadriveMic Very glad to hear that! Me, too!

  • Yey, Synthpop is back and alive! Well done m8, awesome track!

  • An awesome song! Looking forward to the album :)
