Because when I post my photoshopped images, not only do I say the images are not mine (not the base ones nor Morrissey's), but also I say they are made just for silly fun and I credit the original source when I know it. Flickr detects them automatically thank God. What I NEVER do is say "I took them". I only say I did what I indeed have done.
Why did you change the credit? Morrissey-solo didn't make the photoshops, jeez, I did! Research all you want, but I'm pretty sure you know I made them, so please credit me for them, what are you crediting solo for? You took the song from Solo? Then fine, but don't remove my credit because it's correct! Just when I was ready to let go!
I do know, like I told Kgis privately. And she knows what I told her. I post my photoshops with disclaimers and credit is given when known, photographer and company. Disclaimers do the job when your intentions aren't malicious. She claimed she did the photoshops, that's the problem I have with her, it's not a matter of copyright but basic honesty. I always say people can take them and use them, but not claim it's their job. I'm sure you can understand this.

What I mean is that I don't care if she doesn't credit me as long as she doesn't claims my works as hers, that's all. When I use someone else's photos for my photoshops I clarify they're not mine, which is more than not saying "they are". So it's crap legally speaking, which wasn't my point at all. You are a great friend by the way, taking her side against reason.
you can't please most morrissey fans , they are much too self centered and selfish to ever get along with anyone in the real world (outside the internet). They usually live in a deluded sheltered fantasy existence .

It is the "photoshop artist" who is at fault here:stealing others images and manipulating them without credit or consent of the original photographer.
The original photographers should be pursuing the"photoshop artist" with legal action.
