Christians have a personal relationship with Jesus (especially with Evangelicas Christians, e.g. Charasmatics/Baptist, etc). The reason why Jesus never claimed to be something was because he was a King, sent by His Father. Does a King go around saying, I'm the King? No, of course not. He is above all that! Why would you expect the Heavenly Host to do something that is not practiced by men?

America has about 80% of its people are Christian. But that, I suspect, is most likely because Christianity's violence hit the right spots, and for long enough. The inquisitions set up a pretty big advantage for forcing "belief" on people.
So it may be that Christianity was the more violent religion. Not a Win I would be proud of. Although I wouldn't care to be the one in second place here either.

@Attisss I Samuel 19:20-24 is talking about King Saul, from whom the Spirit of God had departed. There are many things that Saul did which are recorded in I Samuel for the express purpose of making the case that Saul was no longer anointed of God to be Kind of Israel and David was truly the chosen one. This is just one incident in a whole body of evidence against Saul. (Saul consulted witches, Saul tried to kill David, Saul ordered his son Jonathon to be killed as well....)

They throw out crazy lines like "Mary was 12 when Jesus was born", knowing there is absolutely no historical record of how old Mary was, unless the Quran tells them so...The Bible certainly does not. Then, if you're ticked off by their nonsense and stop talking them, they'll quote Jesus and tell you you must put up with abuse by "turning the other cheek". Remember, Jesus IS Lord! Amen!

Just youtube it - please don't try and taint my reply, since you can't face the truth, also the same very scholars state that they don't even know who authored large portions of the Old testament, nevermind the new testament and as for turning the other cheek it seem you do practise that since i informed you that those videos were fake i.e. ex Muslims LOL but you still decide to have them up, "hollywood type fakes haha"

@hextai111 There is a reason why the Gospel of James, Gospel of Peter, and other so-called infancy Gospels did not make it into the cannon of New Testament Scripture. It is because they are pseudepigraphal writings. They were not written by the person to whom they are attributed. No scholar, Christian or otherwise, from Origen of Alexander (3rd century) onward has taken these writings seriously. They are mere fairy tales and legends.

@hextai111 Just because a book is not "banned" doesn't mean it is historical. No one ever banned the Iliad or the Odyssey by Homer, but that does not mean they are historical writings. They are fiction, same genre as the "Gospel of James"
