@zaviergonzo if ur just going by the pronunciation, then he's starfy. Japan has a slight accent on things, like kirby is a mix between kaby and karby. if that's how they got the name stafy, then he's really just starfy.

I learned something new in the way of Starfy's name in Japanese. But to find certain things you have to type in "Stafy". Although one time I saw someone spell it "Stafi". I didn't know what to think about that one. o_o

Starfy is not actually a starfish, but it make a lot of sense because he is shaped like a star. I love the Starfy games! And I love his adorable little sister, Starly! She's so cute!

@kierakaru Yeah...weird. Hitoshi was asked often if Starfy was a star or a starfish and the company policy responded with neither. Hitoshi on the other hand called him as the Prince of Pufftop.

But it's fun, the music is great for the GBA and it's really cute, a lot of character in Starfy's animations and such :)

I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but I think the reason it is spelt, "Stafy" is because the pronounciation for "Star" in Japanese is "suta", which makes the "r" sound silent.... but, if you think about it, saying "Stafy" fast would make it sound like the missing "r" is there. Either way, it's your opinion. Also cute video.

umm yes you are correct but you messed up in the description on number 1.

when you typed the pronounciation (SU-TAH-FI) you have to take out the U in the SU, because it is silent. nice pics btw.
