@haiti1800 That has to do with the speed of your computer. My computer (I'm the presenter, Daan Berg) isn't that old and can handle the quality.

Try setting the webcam to a lower resolution, if you really want to try it out with an older computer.

@haiti1800 You might have 3GB of RAM, but the power of your processor is just very important here. You're only 0.7GHz away from the minimum processor capacity.

BTW: If you have a lot of programs installed/running, that really affects intensive applications and devices like this.

Expect it to be much worse when using an HD camera.

hey isnt a 4.0 megapixel better than a 1.3 ?? becuase for somereason a friend of mine has the 4 mega pixel webcam but its blurry, im not sure if the webca, screen is doing that but i dunno if i shud get it, by the way its the kross 6 led webcam

The best sensor you get for mid and high range webcams is CMOS. It can take up to 1.3 MP. What your friend webcam does is it interpolates the image pixels and creates more digitally. The blur is probably from it being unfocused. You should be able to manually adjust that on the front ring of the webcam. I hope this helped

4 MPixels means youre video material has a higher resolution. It does not say anything about the quality itsself

@ScarcityJ A 4.0 MP indeed is better than a 1.3 MP, but only if your computer is fast enough to handle a 4.0 MP.

Probably, your friend's webcam's focus ring is not set properly. Try playing around with the focus untill it's corrected.

If that doesn't help, try bringing more light to the subject.

(But for the record, there's no such thing as a British accent. There are three countries in Great Britain and all have different accents. You mean English!)
