Parting is such sweet sorrow. I first got a Hitachi 8mm camcorder, and the little latch that locks the LCD in place broke off after the tripod it was mounted on fell, despite the entire camera still working. I also have an RCA VHS-C Camcorder that eats tapes, and since VHS-C head cleaners are rare and hard to come by, I don't use it anymore. I will be getting a Canon Vixia HF R10 in the mail soon, to add to my two Sony HandyCams.
I have a Sony camera that my parents bought back in 2001. Recently, after years of use, it broke down. It won't eject the videotape in it plus the "wide/tight" button on it doesn't consistantly work and according to Sony, if the camera was still in mint condition it would only be worth 15 dollars. Now I must hook the camera to a VCR for recording.
I bet it gets annoying having to do that. If I want to set the white balance on mine, I have to do the same thing. But at least we still have a way to record videos!
Thanks! I made that music a couple months ago. After I made this video I was like "Wait...that would fit perfect!". Good thing I didn't use it for anything else lol.
Yeah, that's basically how I was. I still haven't gotten my new one yet, but I will soon. I just don't know if I'll be able to break completely away from my old one though; got a lot of sentimental value. :] But thanks for commenting!
Yep, your camera is one step down from mine. The only thing my has that yours doesn't is the photo addition. The camera doesn't really take good pictures anyway, so you're not missing much.
Yeah, it really sucks. I was saving for a new camera anyway, so at least I'll have a replacement very soon. And thanks for your comment! I'm really glad you've liked most of my work. :]
