I have to say, Ferrari without Michael is a dead family and religion, and Michael without Ferrari is a dead family and religion ... seeing him now with mercedes isn't the team for him, I'm sure if he returned with Ferrari, he would have more points by now, at least some podium finishes not just one, and also maybe a victory. He's wasting time with mercedes, mercedes isn't that strong this year.

@TheBoysct I think he came back to increase his overall points statistics, because now as you see the points in F1 changed in a big new way, drivers now can catch Michael's points record in a few years easily (thats if they keep gaining alot of points) Its like this now, old times drivers champions will be last in points stats while new era drivers 2010+ will be on top spot. Michael is intelligent, he did a good thought coming back but his team isnt that strong, or maybe hes just driving easy.

Eventhough I am British and a Hamilton fan, I stand and salute this man as a true great and a genius of F1. People's perception of him as a cold arrogant man is extremely inaccurate and the truth is that he is a warm family man who was very very good at what he did and he loved what he did. You probably rate Schumacher better than Senna which I agree with ;-) (Senna fans wont like me now lol)

My opinion on the greatest is the same as Murray Walker and that is Juan Manuel Fangio (with Michael 2nd). Juan was a chubby Argentine who made his F1 debut at the age of 39 in the first F1 championship in 1950 and won 5 titles in 7 seasons with 4 different constructors and was runner up twice (once when he missed most of the season through a broken neck).

but few people know that schumi was a complete workaholic and who worked day in and day out with his engineers to make sure his car was perfect..

a combination of talent,hard work and very good engineers made the genius that is michael schumacher...

Yes, Fangio was born in 1911, so his F1 championship debut was at the age of 39 (a chubby 39 year old! lol. He won the 1954 German GP after a poor pit stop put him some 45 secs behind both Ferrari cars and he caught them both to win in 3 hours 45 mins and he didn't share his car, so he did the race by himself (he was 43 when he won this race). So maybe there IS hope for us ;-) lol
