  • I think i'm the only person who actually likes this..

  • @EmanresuJosh i liked it too.

  • Эффектная концовка))

  • Somebody needs to make a mashup combining this with the angry German keyboard kid.

  • Is this the IIDX 20 OMES?

  • u r trying to get a million views? It ain't happening....

  • @PianoTHIS You're crushing his dreams harder than he crushed those keys. :(

  • えっこれ楽譜みてんの!?

  • 絶句です・・すごい・・面白い!最高にイカレてる!唯一無二という言葉しか浮かびませんでした!

  • that was................ different..

  • Not the kind of music I would load into my mp3 player, but great fun parody!

  • That is just random playing.

That's not something he has written down on paper.

He don't use the sheets, they're only a joke. Maybe you can play that fast, but if you can play a piece which is that fast and that challenging, you don't need sheets. You would with 100 % have it memorized.

  • i cant say i hate it... i cant say i like it... its his art and i guess my taste doesn't suit this type of music yet because im still in piano grades :/

  • The music sucks, but the composer's brilliant ...

  • @lleorodrig Doesn't suck :(

  • Delightfully insane madness. Wonderful nightmare of noise.

  • is everyone else hearing what i'm hearing...?

  • Tranqui socio, tómate una tila ... relájate...

  • *GWAYYYA and turns page*

Epic! XD This is just weird.

  • Can Cziffra play that? LOL

  • its hard but it sounds like shit

  • this is incredibly amusing. He is crazy and funny! But the music isn't too good.

  • Can i've the sheet music please?

  • am surprised the lady can follow what he's playing... to turn the sheets...

  • Piano just got zerg rushed.

  • he just wants to c how many views and comments he can get. wants attention and i am so stupid giving it to him.

  • @PianoTHIS No he is not, he is a genius, and you should admire him and feel bad about how you will never be as good as him at playing the Piano. XD

  • i can't believe he did this for 6 and 1/2 minutes and nobody walked out. rofl

  • This is piano metal

  • I used to love his music, until he reached 30,000 views, then it became too mainstream

  • excessive parallel motion. otherwise, intriguing.

  • The piano equivalent of facerolling.

  • I'd still call this music, Noise is after all a "genre" of music as well, if we're going to be playing /that/ game. It's really just an expression in aural form. That's exactly what Noda is doing here, expressing, every bit of abrasion and smashing and screaming and random is part of that expression.

  • Somebody punch this kid please.

  • death metal on piano

  • parkinsons is a hell of a disease

  • No, I looked this guy up (Hikari Kiyama) and he's real, and I found a bunch of stuff by him on Youtube. This is nothing compared to his other works.

  • honestly i think that anyone can just bang pointlessly on a piano.

  • @SkewSuks17 they can, but thats not what this kid is doing. This is actually really impressive to me.

  • I swear they are in a mental institue lol

  • I think Rzewski and this guy should get together

  • There are some moments of beauty in this. That is for sure. I would hate to see the sheet music. And hate to do all of the practicing required. There are some moments where you can tell that he does some mistakes (which is pretty amazing as the piece is so clearly atonal --> hearing something that is not correct is weird). I would hate to be the piano. I assume that there was a tuner on hand for whoever played after you in this recital?

  • 4歳の娘がヘタクソと言ってました…;;

  • This boy has autism. rofl

  • This is an insult to the whole concept of music. This is noise, not music and he's old enough to recognize that. He thinks he's being funny and is just trying to get a lot of attention for hits on this video. He wants like a million views, perhaps this vid will be shown on the news, and maybe he'll get his own Reality show. lol NOT!

    FAIL!

  • not bad for prima vista

  • 5:34 WTF O.O!!!!!! It's beautiful =D!! (no, seriously, it scares me xD!!)

  • she's turning the pages! somebody wrote this shit? i can play this without the sheet music. i can't stop laughing! roflmaoooooooooooo

  • she's turning the pages! i can't stop laughing! roflmaoooooooooooo

  • WTF? lmao!

  • What the fuck? I thought it was a joke at the start. Anyway what's that scream all about?

  • 1:20 = epic

  • and thank you for disappointing Mozart, Chopin, and Beethoven.

  • I want the sheet music for this

You should try this. Why are you keeping silence on this evil crimes onto your life?

  • A country where this kind of art is ignored and the performer is blamed by stupid people can never be a country of people that is culturally matured. But, you should protest against lawless evils instead of playing inside of small inner circle!

  • Your progress since your Kyoto recital is obvious and impressive!

  • 笑ってもたw

  • 5***** 5***** 5***** 5***** 5*****

  • there nothing in the sheet score cuz at that speed hed be turning pages faster than that

    LOL tho

  • What the fuck...

  • crazy bastard.

  • What I think is that dodecaphinosm shouldn't give the impression of 'noise', 'rant', 'craziness'. But many of the implementations from this guy, like playing with a foot, shouting, and playing notes with 7 octaves in between, show that he has no true musical appreciation. It's like if someone, who calls himself a pro-abortion supporter, stabbed random pregnant woman on the street in their bellies. Just as that, this isn't a true dodecaphinst. He is deaf, he has it all wrong..

  • @omgtkseth This is not dodecaphonic piece, and I think the playing with the foot is indicated in the score.

  • i lol'd at 5:03

  • Alexis Weissenberg could play this.

  • no doubt he could but he`d surely be better spending his time on something less superficial (eg. Xenakis Keqrops)than this piece.

  • I hope the instrument has got an insurance, life insurance

  • I thought he was taking the piss...

  • at 0:32 he misses a note.

  • how did you know that?!

do you have score of that piece?

  • @windshy8500 I do actually.

  • @KangarooPhucker , how can you tell?

  • @waranghira I have memorized this piece of art.

  • @KangarooPhucker , do you know how to play it? @_@

  • @waranghira Kind of, it is difficult.

  • Hilarious! I love the page turning!

  • Maybe this wouldn't be so irritating if we wouldn't see the performer. I think there's a clash between noise music (which I like) and this "look at me, I can play 234892 notes per second!!11"-crap we see so often on youtube.

  • 1 word: horrible

  • Technical, maybe u better then lang lang...

  • oooops you got 1 note wrong!

    looooool

  • 狂(はげ)しくて騒(すばら)しい。

  • I actually found the piece exciting (wouldn't necessarily want to listen to it every day) but as a professional pianist I would give a couple of years of my life for Mr Noda's technique. Genius!

  • Music appreciation! ~ x3

  • I'm sorry, but it's bad, really bad. I'm sure this guy is talented in music, but this song ain't got no melody. It is more contemporary art than real music.

  • There's a very obvious simple melody that appears many times

  • Aghhhhh. I thought this was a joke until I heard clapping at the end of it. Is the "composer" sitting in a padded room yet?

  • you are a shit

  • I quote you from your previous post: "Most New Complexity works move through a general structure." Make up your mind. Also, what do you mean "exactly?" I reiterate- tell us the types of analysis you *allegedly* used to make the laughably erroneous claims in your previous statement, and where you got a hold of the sheet music. And, it's not like Boulez's Deuxieme sonate pour piano has an "audible" structure, so it must not be music either? And, this piece has Gestaltian structure, btw.

  • I also must inquire as-to where you not only received the sheet music to this piece, which would be required to perform any sort of analysis (I might also defy you to name the piece, but that would be petty), but also what form of music analysis you used to determine the lack of repetition in the piece. Oh... wait... isn't one of the defining motifs of New Complexity a lack of repetition? I subsequently call into question the validity of any analysis, in this argumentative context.

  • This is also a false premise argument. "Most" New Complexity works, or to be more specific, works that are universally categorized as New Complexity (I only make this addendum due to the fact that many New Complexity artists do not like their work described as such), is a misnomer, due to the massively varied output of the various composers in the oeuvre, from Ferneyhough to Finnissy, from Dench to Dillon and from Barrett to Barlow. [cont]

  • This joke of an attempt at an argument has a false premise. Your illogic works under the presupposition that a piece of music must be able to be understood by an average audience member to be a valid form of art. Also, this is a Brutalist/New Complexity work; it is not composed using complex, academic techniques, therefore your assumptions about this piece are incorrect in the first place.

  • where's the music tojo

go back to your pedo animes

  • woops nvm it seems to have fixed itself

  • that was spposed to be a resonse to John11inch... how do you comment to someone's post and not have it just be a separate post at the top??

  • if this is good, my baby cousin is gunna be rich

  • Yeah..I mean sure you have skill but it sounds like nonsense, why would you play it

  • it's expiremental music buddy. it happends when people get bored of what's in... like all that music that you hear in radio and realise it sounds like something else

  • ....Holy crap. I love the screaming. Very awesome.

    But not really.

I wonder what the sheet music looks like?

  • A mudslide.

  • A TONAL ENDING!!!! WOW!

(..no, i did not mean to say atonal ending. because it is a major chord he plays at the end. makes my day:) )

  • *makes your day*

Doesn't matter if the final chord is C4C5C6C7. This piece has no harmony, and therefore no specific note/chord can be "tonal" in correlation to the piece. A chord can be dissonant or consonant. The final chord is consonant, but because the is: chromatic, atonal, aharmonic and angular, thus no single note can be "tonal" by definition.

  • shittttt, written at 3:30 AM. Grammar sucks, but level of correctness remains staunchly unwavering :O

  • actually i think it was an f major chord... but i could be wrong and i guess the point i was initially trying to get across was that i was pleasantly surprised at the sudden, delightful-sounding last *note/consonant chord/moment/whatever*. i mean, dont you agree? :P

  • @John11inch NOBODY CARES

  • @akaKakashiFanatic

The fact that you don't care to understand the difference between tonality and consonance is a testament to only the depth to which you could possibly understand not just this music, but any music. The fact that you claim to not care says much more about you than it does about me.

  • @John11inch Actually, I plan on majoring in music theory/compositon. I love music very much, and I appreciate it in all its forms. What I don't appreciate is people like you waving your technicalities in everyone else's faces. Clearly you know much about music theory. However, your comments might be better appreciated in some scholarly music forum. This is Youtube; most people here don't even know half of what you're saying.

  • @John11inch In short, you're acting pretentious. THAT'S why I don't care what you have to say.

  • @akaKakashiFanatic

The only pretense I'm acting under is that of a lack of ignorance. I can see how that would be threatening to you.

  • @John11inch ...um. sure? o.0 I wasn't aware that 'threatened' was synonymous with 'annoyed,' but whatever you say...

  • poor piano

  • i like the avant garde and contemporary but, is he playing a ligeti piece and improvising atonally because he lacks the skill to play it? seriously, where is the music?

  • WTF---? I don't even know what to say to that. Great pianist. Something oddly fascinating about the page turner too.

  • Ahhhhahahahahahahahaha NONSENSEEEE!!!!! This just made my day!

  • crazy...^^

  • che schifo!

  • this piece is called 'innocent prisoner 2007'

from the sound of this, i bet the prisoner is getting some good ol blackmeat injection everynight (buc nasty)

  • I wish I could have been there. LOVE IT!

  • Mi ricorda tanto me a 4 anni....suonavo esattamente come lui! Però dopo qualche minuto....tornavo a giocare come tutti i bambini! XDDD

  • Nothing but a bunch of random chords played carelessly... there's nothing interesting about this composition since there's no melody at all.

  • Amazing.

  • dood..

    o.O

    this guys CRAZY~~

  • I have found the meaning to life.

  • 5:08 best part tbh
