I'm all for constructive criticism or suggestions but some the down and out right negative comments I've read is a disservice to all involved in the process(those in front and behind the scenes) and all the fans that enjoy the show. It's actually been a delight to see their off screen chemistry grow over the past year and give us OTALIA fans subtle cloaked "shout-out's" (Exp, "Ivy" & BPD).
OK...so these two wonderful actors can't and don't have a huge influence as to where the story line goes... (Yeah, I'm talking about the Kiss most OTALIA fans desire). Writers May have some power but are also subject to these darn rules and regulations. That said, I feel that both of these actors deserve a MUCH well deserved round of applause for their TOTAL commitment to the integrity of their specific roles as "Oliva" and "Natalia".
After Liv says that she want the sex to be "ok" I love how Nat gets all flustered at 3.27 "oh I... it will". Heh heh she knows it'll be more than just ok, she's feeling how mindblowingly beautifully awesome it'll be. She swallows hard... she's trying to stop visualising it... Gah!
Just started GL. Addicted to this story and am grateful I don't have to sit through an entire ep of GL to catch a glimpse of these two women. Whilst the story is a beautiful evolution of friendship and love, I must say (and plse do not hurt me for saying so) it is unrealistic and a poor representation of same-sex relationships (or any relationship) in the 21st century...even if we are talking about Springfield.
Shame on CBS for taking one step forward and two steps back.
All the great snuggling and intimate scenes rolled up into one video, makes the next couple of weeks until the Otalia endgame more than bearable. I wished I had found this video during the Natalia drought. It would've made the time go very fast.
i realize that most otalia fans are anxous for the KISS--and so am I,but actually this clip illustrates one of the things i love about this beautiful love story. insteading of relying on obvious expressions of love this love story relies on subtie means--a look,a smile,a stroke of one's lover's hair,etc. to convey a whole world of meaning--like in Casablanca, or in a Jane Austen novel. Classic and beautiful. I,too,want to see the fireworks go off between them,but I like whats happened so far.
This story is good except for the fact that they have not kissed that is totally unrealistic. I would have jumped in and stolen alot of kisses by now and then more. The rest of the story has us...no doubt about that.
See now I think that when Nat returns from her retreat that she will decide that she can't be with O except as friends. Even after this clip and all the other 'building up' clips. Then we'll have to go through more agony of watching O break down from it. Swear...if the writers do that to us I'm done with GL.
I have hope. I think they will be together. Im thinking if Nat really is pregnant Frank won't threaten to sue for custody but cooperate with Liv & Nat raising the child. & all live happily ever. Not much time to develop that but not such a hard sell. If they say Nat wasn't really pregnant but has some kind of false similar symptoms (from diabetes or something) this way they can just reunite, They then just love each other and come out with not too much upheaval, They have time for that.
I agree lovepeacenappiness23. If Frank is the father he should be able to help raise the child. I see that as best for every child whose parents are not together. I hope there is no pregnancy but if Nat is pregnant, I hope Frank cooperates with Nat to be who she is, with Olivia if that is what she chooses, and does not sue for sole custody because he thinks his child should not be raised by two same sexed partners.

One of the reasons...of which there are about a million...that I love these scenes is when Olivia kisses Natalia's hand. When Natalia told Olivia, the day of Emma's school play, that she truly loves her and knows what that means, Olivia asked her if she could love her "like this" and she put Nat's hand on her face and Nat could not keep her hand there. Well now, YES, she CAN love her like that!

With CC leaving for Days I don't know if they can ever find anyone to replace CC even if another network like Lifetime did pick them up. So the next episodes are critical & I hope we get a happy ending. But for now let's enjoy as much of them as we can get.
Thanks Otalianut. I have replayed this so much. Great to have the clips together though I have played so much Otalia videos I have lost a lot of sleep. I am going to miss these two after September. I have hope. I think they will be together. Im thinking if Nat really is pregnant Frank won't threaten to sue for custody but cooperate with Liv & Nat raising the child. & all live happily ever. Not much time to develop that but not such a hard sell. If they say Nat wasn't really pregnant but has some kind of false similar symptoms (from diabetes or something) this way they can just reunite, They then just love each other and come out with not too much upheaval, They have time for that.

What's wrong with Frank wanting a part in his child's life? If he want's to help raise his kid, he should.

I agree lovepeacenappiness23. If Frank is the father he should be able to help raise the child. I see that as best for every child whose parents are not together. I hope there is no pregnancy but if Nat is pregnant, I hope Frank cooperates with Nat to be who she is, with Olivia if that is what she chooses, and does not sue for sole custody because he thinks his child should not be raised by two same sexed partners.

Well, don't watch this show often,so I thought maybe he was a bad influence or something. BUT,I see your point. Yeah,hopefully he won't be so narrow-minded about it. Yeah,I agree with ya. I wasn't thinking about him not wanting the kids to have 2 mommies! ha ha

You know, I was dying for a kiss my first time and I was so nervous I didn't really know how to approach this new thing..I knew I wanted it badly but it made me shy and scared. Women are much more intimidating to me and I guess it is because I love and respect them so much.

One of the reasons...of which there are about a million...that I love these scenes is when Olivia kisses Natalia's hand. When Natalia told Olivia, the day of Emma's school play, that she truly loves her and knows what that means, Olivia asked her if she could love her "like this" and she put Nat's hand on her face and Nat could not keep her hand there. Well now, YES, she CAN love her like that!

With CC leaving for Days I don't know if they can ever find anyone to replace CC even if another network like Lifetime did pick them up. So the next episodes are critical & I hope we get a happy ending. But for now let's enjoy as much of them as we can get.

Thanks Otalianut. I have replayed this so much. Great to have the clips together though I have played so much Otalia videos I have lost a lot of sleep. I am going to miss these two after September. Want to soak up as much of JL & CC as I can until then. Such a shame GL finally hit the storyline of its lifetime & can't be given another chance to stay on the air.

I can see how this would throw Rafe for a loop. He sees his mom as very conservative and traditional. He freaked out when she wanted to do a shot so I can see this taking time for him to process. I think he'll come around at some point though.

neizannd -- I might need to request that the writers get rid of him if he ends up having a bigger issue with this than his mother did. All that means to me is his words to his mother about her happiness was contingent upon the person being of the MALE persuasion.
