  • Cried all the way through this, this man will never be matched on his musical ability. There will never ever be another as great as him xxx

  • yeah and more much more than this i did my way... a story fore us all..

  • The Greatest Entertainer of All Time and a Wonderful Human Being! ElvisForever!

  • Yes, indeed! a powerful version of My Way. Full of energy and most impressing being at that date in Elvis' life...even in his worst...Elvis is the best. Great video too! (The photo with the tractor is really curious!!)

  • I doubt the world will ever see the likes of this mans talent ever again, awesome.

    Rcordar é viver ....

  • LOVE IT!!!! Thank you.

  • La voce era ancora più bella che in passato e l'interprete ancora più appasionato.

  • The best king ,,, In Hungary Budapest

  • Very Good Song, My Dad Liked It So It Was Chose For His Funeral. Cause It Was His Way At The End.

  • Death you say, I say to you that it is only the beginning. True heart true death. Only life.

  • the pictures are great and ofcourse the version...TCB

  • yes yes he was blonde:)

he is the besttttttttttttt respecttttttt what a voiceeeeeeeeee so love him rip Elvissssssssssssssss!

from the moroccan jewish in israel

  • me and my daughter play this sometimes im 48 she is 16 ,,,"she is doing it her way" she tells me,,and i just smile, and say" i love you baby girl",,,and i also did it my way, and still do, till the day i die.

  • what a great version of a great song, and what a voice of a man who had,nt long to live, the kings voice never left him.

  • i think the alloa vertion if you wach his face is the best vertion but this prob the most poingunt, and like you im a massive elvis fan and a tribute artist im happy if i could have an ounce of his sound or charicter,i do it for the love of elvis and in no way think im elvis as some people tend to think .its people like you and me will ensure people will no who elvis is long live the king my freind tcb

  • Jesus this version is AMAZING. Love Sinatra, but the King is the King. Awesome.

  • What an incredible voice, despite of being sick this is an amazing performance by the one and only Elvis. The King is dead, long live the King.

  • la sua voce aariva direttamente al cuore thank you king

  • The king is singing in heaven with a choir of millions of angels. We miss ya KING OF ROCK!

  • if you had one king of the world it would be elvis the one and only

  • Two great performers, two different eras, and two great versions of the same song. They certainly did it their way...and that's what the song is all about. We are all given a life and we all make different choices and do it our way. Thanks for the childhood pictures of Elvis and the ones of him early in his career.

  • this will be my last song on my funeral

  • legends like these are born only once in a lifetime

  • @cheng269

    Sorry, I have to disagree.

Legends like Elvis come along once and once only. The world had never seen anything like him before, and I highly doubt we'll ever see anything like hime again.

I'm just so grateful that, for a short time, I actually got to breath the same air as him.

  • @AlaCarcuss ok thanks for your opinion :)

  • I like Frank's version better.....I love them both dearly, I just think Frank's was a tad better

  • @joshgaus your right, Farnk is better. but to the truth, Elvis made original's into something into his own life. like that one song call "And I Love You So" Don(original singer), sang it like nothing, but Elvis sang it with heart and feelings, with his life. But Elvis is a performer with alot emotions :)

  • @shadowphurba Yes I agree, its hard to compare minds like Frank and Elvis. Elvis did kind of make songs his own, so its almost like he created his own song

  • @joshgaus Franks version is different, but definitely not better...especially the version from Aloha From Hawaii 1973

  • 16 people - last name BIEBER

  • If anyone knows the book "The Stranger" this song fits with the story line thumbs up if you agree

  • Elvis was the rebel that could not be tamed

  • Incredible

  • The fucking king

  • Too BAD Elvis ruined his heart, trashed his life and ultimately killed himself using drugs.

BE STRONG! BE SMART! SAY NO TO DRUGS!

  • @gfemg Very good comment, and needs to be said. So many people with great talent have also great weakness which brings them down. But what joy they give us, and what a legacy from Elvis.

  • @gfemg im sorry friend, but you got it wrong so wrong.

elvis did do drugs, but didnt killed him. he died along time ago

when his mommy died, everyone knows that. he didnt trash his life

he just didnt care anymore. and his heart ruined, no he left it along

with priscilla, when he knew to late what he left and missed. but he is a great performer.

  • This is fantastic!

  • There'll NEVER be a voice like this ... incredible, unique ... one of a kind!

  • Heartrending video. TCB

  • i think that elvis did a great job singing this song i think that he should have gotten a grammy for his perforamce of this song, he realy hit it right out of the park with the way that he sang his verson of it. elvis is still the king of rock and roll.

  • can't wait to get to heaven(I hope) and finally meet the KING.

  • Oh elvis, so much emotion in ur voice! <3 love u ! <3

  • presley forever alive and forever king

  • The KING #1 FOR EVER

  • The king ruled the world and still does !

  • LA VERSION D'ELVIS C'EST LA PLUS BELLE POUR MOI !!!!!

  • I love Sinatra's and Elvis'! They were both such great and passionate singers.

  • How fitting for Elvis to have sung this song as well

  • Don't even talk bad about the King he nailed this song and every song he sang!!! He will always be the greatest long live the King Elvis!!!!!!

  • @chiro792222

That's typical for Elvis' interpretation of "My Way" and it makes it unique!

I simply cannot say wether I prefere Frank Sinatra or Elvis in this beautiful (sad) song. It's just great music and feeling! I love it!

  • Great version, but they changed the rhythm suddenly at 2:59.That was a mistake.

  • I am a Sinatra fan, but make no mistake, Elvis is one hell of a singer and takes a backseat to no one.

  • Personally like Sinatra's version more but this is nice

  • Elvis is the greatest singer of all time he could sing anything .. and always the best at any song

  • im 400th person to like it

  • My mother and I often argued - Whose version was better - Elvis (me) Frank (my mother) both tremendous and yet so different!

  • i would like to say that this is the best version of this song that i have heard of this song that i have heard on here on here in a long time. thanks for posting

  • only elvis could sing this song. fantastic,i love it every minute.elvis forever

  • THERE ARE TWO PEOPLE WHO WALKED THIS EARTH THAT WILL NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN... JESUS AND ELVIS. THEY WALK TOGETHER NOW, BUT IM WILLING TO BET THAT JESUS HAS JUST A BIT MORE RHYTHM IN HIS STEP NOW !!! TCB E. WE LOVE YOU AND WE MISS YOU !!

  • A lot of singers tried hard dressing up like Elvis, but no one could come close to this great man.The same goes for his singing, legends like cliff richard has said so many times on stage that no one will be able to touch Elvis,he would remain The king for ever.

  • Every Elvis fan should watch the movie... Bubba Ho-Tep. Yeah its a bit of comedy and horror but there is a sweet and touching Elvis story in there. Also Elvis meets Nixon is a great movie!

  • elvis was a great singer but he had something that makes you feel like you know him and you would trust him. decent bloke we need more like him

  • beautiful

  • He died because he loved his mother.

  • An amazing talent. He had such stage charisma and was so good looking. All the girls went nuts for him, screaming and carrying on. I saw him at the Oakland Coliseum (now the Oakland Arena) and he packed that place. He was truly a Star. Too bad he became addicted to drugs and died so young.

  • few days after he collapsed and pased away.we miss you

  • omg Wake up it was a junkie

  • he was the king and shit!

  • We miss you Elvis

  • Superb!

  • Elvis forever .....

  • FABULOUS,FOREVER,FANTASTIC.

  • genial

  • He sido muy admirador de elvis,en su tiempo a sido un maestro....

  • Beautiful version, prophetic, great.

  • the greatest singer for ever

  • How can there be 4 dislikes? How can someone not like this? THIS is what singing is, not crap today. The 4 dislike must've came from Justin Beiber fans.

  • @LPMC723 /evey body is entitled to their own opinon a.h. haven't you read the constitutuion are are you illiterate. people who don't know what they they are talking about should stay off of the net or should get their facts straight before hand.

  • @leetheglee3523 i agree...

  • Elvis, mio caro R.I.P. :(

  • I've always though this the best version Elvis ever did-even better than Hawaii 73.

  • The other songs of this show doesn't soun that good. It's like he was meaning every word ..Gives me chills. And if you think the lyrics couldn't be more in sync with his moment. So sad.And yet so beautifull.

  • @beroth77 your words reflect what i think :(

  • ELVIS FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!

  • love you elvis.

  • Beautiful!

  • I was a fifteen-year-old when Elvis died and it was his fan since I was a child .. It really is very exciting to hear him sing "I know the end is near" and know that he soon would leave us ... To me he will always be a myth! I love Elvis! forgive my mistakes, I do not know how to speak English very well ... I'm sorry ..

  • Elvis Presley é, sem dúvida alguma, o verdadeiro e único REI do ROCK, dono desta belíssima voz, além do talento na interpretação sem igual. UM VERDADEIRO ASTRO-REI!

  • In the last versions sadly Elvis did forget the words sometimes, however there were other times he was bang on and didn't miss a note never mind a word. Whatever the case he will always be the King!

  • I don't like his voice that much tbh. He doesn't suit this

  • @guywiththerussianhat , That is one's opinion, However, if you listen to this song and know his life story you realize he suits this song PERFECTLY

  • Frank did it better......

  • No matter what genre of music you're into, Elvis always made you stop & listen to his music! Love Him!

  • Simply the king... The world is a poorer place since Elvis's passing

  • If you listen to this sersion and it doesn't bring a tear to your eyes or put a lump in your throat your just not human. Elvis had such passion and power in his voice. Long live the music and magic of Elvis Presley the greatest entertainer of all time

  • If you listen to this song and it doesn't bring a tear to your eyes or put a lump in your throat then your not human. Long live the music and magic of Elvis Presley the greatest entertainer of all time.

  • When I post this on facebook, it won't play from there, instead it says 'embedding displayed by request watch on you tube'

It's so much easier, however, to watch directly from ones FB page. Therefore, can you make it so, please? TU!

  • @pinkn0rangetoo not sure if I know how to do that, but you can copy the video link and post that instead of the embed code!

  • @pinkn0rangetoo

Looks better here than Facebook tho...

  • @pinkn0rangetoo yes, facebook seems easier, but you can't do better than yourtube. I go to Facebook every couple of months, but I rely on my music at YouTube. This is strictly my preference and don't expect anyone to agree with me. Good luck to you.

  • @pinkn0rangetoo there's a share button...click that then click on the facebook icon

  • the version of frank sinatra in the best

  • king of songs..... king of glitter !!!!!!!!

  • The reason this is probably mentioned by others to be his Best Version Was because he was in a Bad State & could not remember the words So had to read them through 89% of song until the end. This obviously slowed down the song a little & maybe it sounds better slower That is only reason I can think of.

But what ever The Greatest Artist Ever & His Like Will never be seen again

Infact there are a few who will never be replaced. Roy Orbison for One & Gene Vincent

The UK First & Forever TeddyBoy

  • @1950sTeddyboy: That's right, there will never be another Elvis Presley. Though some may try to emulate him by impersonation as I have, none will be equal to him.

TCB, my friend and Adios - Last E

  • @LastElvis90 Why would you say such a thing you insensitive Bastard! There are a lot of Airforce personel that call Rapid City there home...not by choice but because their country requires it of them. Many of which i am sure were at this very concert that you mock. Perhaps this was his best show because he dedicated it to the many military that were their, his brothers in arms. Dont call a place a "Bad State" unless you live there and have reason. Please crawl under your rock and die already.

  • @1950sTeddyboy My dad was an Eastender Ted .

  • @195477 No Greater place to Live Then !! Although I travelled the Country from 17yrs Old After 18 months in Merchant Navy .. But Canning Town was My Base... Made Many Great Friends Especially in the True TeddyBoy Era. Especially Southampton (When We Had a Shipping Industry !!! ) As 2,000 Apprentices Most Teds. Great & Exciting Times. Never to Be Repeated .Ha Ha & Still Contracting in Same Oil Industry.. But Let Others Do the Travelling Now.. To Much Bloody Paperwork Running a Company / Cheers

  • @195477 Hi Again ::: Elvis played a Great Part in All Teds Lives

Then & Now as No Greater Performer has ever Lived.

However Many Great Artists from the Era . "Roy Orbison the Voice" & "Gene Vincent The Rocker" ..

Ha Ha I Bought first Elvis REcord before I had a Player... Put it on Our Arcade JukeBox & We spent all Day PAYING to Play both Sides Hound Dog & Don't Be Cruel .... Nothing Better than "Hound Dog" Blasting out of a Juke Box ......

Cheers The First & Forever UK TeddyBoy

  • @1950sTeddyboy I have always though Be bop a lula was a copy of Heartbreak Hotel as it was released not long after.

I think Honund dog/Don't be cruel must be the most played jukebox of al time.My parents got married young in 55{still married} and my mum though my dad rich because he had a TV.

Have you ever seen the programme Roy Orbison and friends it was filmed about early 90s in b/w it has Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen and some of Elvis's band Glenn D Hardin,Jerry Scheff, Ronnie Tutt...

  • @195477 : Hi.. As far as I know Most Played Record on Jukeboxes in USA has been & STILL is Elvis : Hound Dog or Patsy Cline : Crazy They switch around & I think Hound Dog most Years to Date & Still same at Truckers Stops: Which says One Hell of a Lot for "Todays Pop Stars & Music" 99% Computer Enhanced Rubbish

Roy Orbison B&W Night One Hell of a Show.. Proved How well he was Adored By his fellow artists as much as His Fans .. You only have to watch Bruce Springstein from His Looks of Pride

  • @195477 ..Ha Ha You're Dad WAS RICH My House in 1955 on deeds Sold for same price as a "Quality" Free Stand 12" TV...As now Worth £280,000 & Colour 12" around £70 ..Vast difference now

Don't think possible H/Dog from BB A Lula.. As Elvis sang it on Stage May 56 & on Coast to Coast TV before Recording it as "B" side to D/B/Cruel...Elvis started Singing it after Watching Freddie Bell & Bell Boys in Vegas May 1956 & asked if He could Copy their Style of the Song & Be Bop a Lula released July 1956

  • @195477 :: Finally for Now The Strangest thing I find is that as much as Gene Vincent is Admired Worldwide & on You Tube never a Bad Remark... He never had a No.1 in UK not even a Top Ten Hit... Highest ever was Be Bop a Lula at No. 15 .... Which Truly Amazes Me... One thing I have to thank You Tube for is Showing me How Great a Ballad Singer he Was from all the Uploads.. Don't think he ever Got over the Death of His Main Friend Eddie Cochran. Mileage travel then so Great you Needed a Friend

  • @1950sTeddyboy ..and James Burton all backing Roy Orbison while he sang his hits,i'll see if some is on Youtube and send you the link...Happy new year.

  • @1950sTeddyboy watch?v=YSQzQJ4lqUk

There is lots more, also I you look up Ricky Nelson you will see a young James Burton backing him.

    Hello Mary Lou.

  • Bigamusky: We all do. The death is certain, the hour is unknown.

  • do u think he knew he was gonna die?

  • I don't know because he was set to go on tour that day.

  • The concert is in June 1977.

  • Thanks for the info!

  • CreatioXNihilio ... Thus Spoke Zarathustra;

Your work is beautifully execution with the spirited in which Elvis rendered My Way here. Xcellent.

  • Thanks so much!

  • Gracias magnifica la version, my way es una gran cancion imposible no estremecerce cuando la canta Elvis.

Elvis es lo mas grande lo amo!

  • Search for Masquerade Singer singing MY WAY....beautiful voice

  • That would be jimmy orion Ellis, and yes I agree he had beautiful voice probably as close to Elvis as one could get. He was killed during a robbery a few years ago

  • Amazing!

  • Awsome! 5 stars
