about "the new lotus " rules, in fact, on the lotus 88, there was 2 body, 1 for the engine support and the second for the cokpit and wings. And the suspension was between those two body car. In the same time, Williams test also the FW 07E with 6 wheels....

Williams nearly invented the Lotus 88 there if they had taken the idea of putting suspension in the seat a bit further.

Active suspensions fixed the ride height control issue. Sadly it got banned as well. F1 sucks these days, no passing, no relevance and no innovation.

Such a cool video. The putting the suspension on the seat part is funny, but I think the best part is at the beginning when the crew is actually taking tools to the car to work on it instead of a laptop.

@tohtorigyro It was Peter Windsor, partner in the infamous USF1 team that failed to make the grid this year. Frank was pushing the car hard and crashed. Sad really.
