Indeed... I've tagged all the videos in this series, and have gone thru most, if not all of them, and I haven't seen anywhere that shows the creation technique for the craters. They look very kewl, and I'm not sure how you've done it, but I'm fairly sure that it involves the hot wire cutter in some fashion or other. If you can, please update one for us, showing the technique? Thanks =)
just center something with a good contrast in your cameraview (best thing is a black and white barcode). if you just film a single colored surface, it wont focus! i hope this will help you
Yep gotta agree with the folks already postin. Really enjoying the walk through so far. and I know it must have been frustrating but the FOCUS chat is brilliant.
Wow man, you are amazing! thank you for posting this for "dummies" like me, i've been painting minis and playing 40k for years, but now that i just bought my own house and i have a basement i wanted to make a table, this is fantastic, i'll try it and let ya know how it comes out!
Really well done series of vids buddy...looking forward to your next step...If you haven't seen the Kamloopian's vid on gooping sealer for foam board scenery, you might check it out...especially for the softer blue foam hills...thanks for sharing your project...as for the camera...it may not be great, but it is a digital camera...my only video camera taks full size VHS tapes :)...Jim
