The point is Bush put the country in greater danger by invading Iraq. That's exactly what bin Laden wanted. He knew it would suck the economy dry and give him lots of recruits. Waterboarding can cause extreme pain, dry drowning, damage to lungs, brain damage from oxygen deprivation, other physical injuries including broken bones (due to struggling against restraints), lasting psychological damage or, if uninterrupted, death. Psychological effects can last for years... Idk, sounds like torture to me. Have you ever tried waterboarding? It's not a pleasant experience. Oh, and cutting someones head off is Murder, not Torture. If you kill someone, its Murder.

Ok, I probably can't change what you believe, but I implore you to reasearch waterboarding and torture methods. I also agree with you, being stoned (before death) is a form of physical torture... waiting to be decapitated (before death) is a form of mental torture. If you die from these, it is considered murder.... to me anyway. As for KSM, if he was indeed waterboarded, he was tortured. Look up the physical and mental aspects of waterboarding. And what do you mean we torture our own guys?
